Going on an international trip Thursday from Sydney airport and want to make it special for my partner, what's the best way to get into airport lounges without forking out an arm or leg?

Has anyone recently been able to use any of the options listed on this page? Just tried using The Telegraph with the code TELEDP16. Went to pay using Credit Card and an error message popped up. Any other ways to do this? I'm heading to Japan via Singapore in a few days time and have a few hours stopover.
TIA

Buy a business class ticket.
LoungeBuddy lists the ones are are pay per entry; you can haggle down from there? Shutting down in January so here's an alternative: https://loungereview.com
There's free Plaza Premium access for certain Mastercards. Do a search on OzBargain, happened to be effective for a card of mine that does not list it as a perk on the bank's website.
Some credit cards, like VISA Amplify, you can get into lounges for (i think) $39 through https://www.prioritypass.com/

Do you have Albo's mobile number?
Yeah, but who needs a lounge with the Plebs, when you fly in style on Gina's private jet?

Not flexible with times & destinations though…
…due to bias on the right wing.
Manage your expectations … once you get past, "ooh … free booze", they're not that exciting.
Which airline?
