Seems like a good deal, this heater is going for $197 @JB Hi-fi and $249 @David Jones at the moment.
Did some quick read-up on Google and ceramic heaters are supposed to be slightly more efficient than other types.

The next model up (2200w vs 2000w) is also going for $95 - although there isn't much difference in terms of features between the two.
