Yes let go! And Ff U Samsung.
Agreed. Hope they go bankrupt!
add hisense to that. Those bastards are selling knowingly faulty products and refusing to honor warranties.
that cheaper then aldi tv , warranty return and gift card discount
Chromecast built-in
does that mean it has 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB rom and an Amlogic S905D3 SoC.
Pretty sure the rather common, "Chromecast built in" expression by TV makers refers to the phone to TV functionality being enabled rather than an actual Chromecast of any generation being actually physically present or within it.
correct, mine certainly aint got chromcast, Fffffalcon!
Thats not bad, alot of housholds still have Bravia HD Tvs from 10+ years ago that cost 2500+ and the same size.. This TV is smart and will provide 4k which those TVs wont for $300-$400. Im glad these cheap options are available for people who see a TV as a NEED in 2024 when its really a Want. My Parents would benifit from this. they still have a HD Bravia but have 4K Foxtel, i keep telling them why have 4k Foxtel when u don't even have a 4k TV??
I once knew an old guy who had an 80 inch oled, spent a fortune on it and only watched free to air channels (facepalm)
My dad does this. He also just watches same channel so gets logo burn-in.
my mate is similar. spends a shit ton on a huge TV and massive surround system to only watch RBT on SD lol, he watches movies on his phone, like wtf?
ffcuking good deal
It’s pretty ffunny, how it’s nnamed
Anyone got one care to comment on the daily use and pic quality ?
Don't know about this one but I have an older Ffalcon and the picture quality (for the price) is excellent. Also reliable, been used daily for about 5 years with no issues. Much better overall than some big brand LCDs like LG.
I have this in one of the lounge rooms, brilliant for the price, mainly used to stream from Plex and YouTube the built in google tv doesn’t miss a beat haven’t needed the appletv in there since. Picture quality is as good as the similar spec samsung it replaced. Doesn’t get used for gaming or any sport so can’t comment on that
I have this and it works fine, its not smart, but a dumb smart tv.
Like most dumb smart tvs it doesn't play all media codecs but does do say 60% natively
When you say "not smart", what do you mean?
I don't have this TV but I have 3 Android TVs, all advertised as having "Chromecast built in" and Google TV. Although they were bought over a couple of years and are running different versions of android, the TV's all operate very much the same. They can access apps from the Google Play store and all came with stuff like Netflix, Stan etc. pre-installed. All can be cast to from phones as well. This TV seems to have the same functionality. Am I missing something?
I've had a 55inch falcon 4K tv for 2+ years, still going strong. Bought off Facebook for $50 so who knows how old it was before I got it. No issues. The only smart function is Netflix so I use a chromecast.
Oh ok good to know. I have an 2019 , 42" bauhn Aldi dumb in the bedroom and it's decent for the bedroom with an Amazon fire stick but was recently given a 55 inch LG OLED from 2017 and it is phenomenal you cannot even compare the difference in pic quality, functioning and all around use.. But obviously expected as was $3200 when released 😂. Not that I'd ever pay anywhere close to that. Replaced my 2014 Samsung 55" which got the sun spots about 3 years ago
Very tempted, but only 1 year warranty.
Ffalcon always sounds like something a Street Fighter character would say as they execute a special move
Tempted to replace the 6yo Hisense poc that I was gifted, but the tightarse in me doesn't want to.
time to do it.
Ggood price for a ccheap 55" Ttv
