Tried a few more times, finally worked in chrome (not sure if it matters).
Noticed I'm unable to cancel the subscription right away - I usually do but this time ti says I'll immediately be downgraded to the free plan. I guess they patched that.
Just a heads up to iOS users, these c’suckers store your bank details so even if you make a new account, you can’t get access to the 3 months. Android users, download xManager and rip them off as much as possible.

Just an FYI for previous users, I haven't subscribed to Spotify for over 6 months now, and I don't get the 3 months for free offer, rather 3 months for $13.99. Not bad, but not as good.
