  • In the market for a sit-stand desk. Anyone that has used it can comment?

    • Can you let me know your budget? And requirements?

      • Width ~120cm and depth ~60 cm should work fine. Prefer the oak top; the prices listed above are within budget

      • Are there any 120x60 with white legs and oak/walnut finish?

    • +1

I bought one last year and very happy with it. Solid and when fully extended it’s really stable.

      • That's great - thank you! Does the desk work fine with both sitting and standing positions? Single monitor + laptop only - so won't really be testing the load limits with the setup

        • +1

Yes it does for me. I’m 6’3’’ and the height is perfect for me when fully extended. I got the dual motor, black frame with the 150cm walnut top. It looks great and have plenty of space (I use two monitors and a laptop).

    • +1

Bought two tables for WFH during covid. Leg for one of the table stopped working after a year or so.
Raised case with Lazy Maisons, they are easy to deal with and quickly got the replacement leg.
      Happy customer.

  • Any deals for 180*75cm?Saw the one on your website for $499 but shipping kills the deal. Recently bought too many monitors from deals here, need something at least 160 wide. Cheers.

    • +1

Shipping costs increase significantly for items over 150cm. Opting for two 120x60cm desktops is a more economical choice, as the shipping for this size is much cheaper. However, the best value remains the 150cm desktop for those who prioritize size over cost.

      • Thanks

        • Can you pickup the 180cm from Lazy Maisons Melbourne warehouse? Thats the best option for 180cm

  • Any deals for the white frames only? Looks like the pricing for the frame + table is pretty much the same cost as the frame on its own.

      • +4

        Not very eco responsible

        • I’m sorry, that’s my mistake.
The frame-only option is not available as part of the deal and would actually cost more than purchasing the complete desk.

You might consider keeping the desktop as a spare or reselling it at a good price.

      • -1

If you require just the frame, we kindly ask that you purchase the complete desk and arrange for the disposal of the top as needed.

WTF did I just read, rep?

You are asking a customer to part with their hard earned money to buy something from your store, and then discard an essential part of their purchase as hard rubbish.

Seriously, your username definitely does not check out.

We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist with any further questions.

This is OzBargain, and we certainly don't appreciate your utterly shameful advice.

Basically the same thing. $265.19 with code.

      • and its free shipping to Adelaide as well when compared to $75 shipping fee from lazy maisons.

        thanks for the link

        • Yeah, Great price. I've had what appears to be the same item (same looking frame and control board) sold under a different brand for a good 2 years with a decent load on it and it was great until the power source got fried by lightning. Still a fine desk, but doesn't move…
Ordered this one to replace it, as I'm hoping I can just swap out the power source rather than dismantle the old one completely.

      @treefidi wants a 120x75 desktops by themselves.

      • any deal on dual 120?

  • Anyone used a monitor arm on their OZ Oak top? Thinking to get this desk and mount an monitor arm, just not sure if its strong enough to hold without cracking.

    • +1

      The desktop is quit solid…

      • Could you please confirm whether this will support a monitor arm, yes/no?

        • Going by the website it's melamine particle board with a veneer. Depending on the board that can be great, or shit. The comments here imply it's fine. If it's not, bunnings has solid wood panels cheap.

    • I literally added a NB F80 to my oak top yesterday. Rock solid, the top is a heavy piece of kit, not going to crack

  • I got a Oikiture 1.6m dual motor for $350 delivered off eBay this year.120KG of lift

    • How’s the quality? Thanks

    • Hows the quality?

    • $288 with discount incl shipping for 120 x 60

      • 299 for lazy maisons

          • $70 delivery to Adelaide.

          Hence Oikiture wins.

  • Hey OP I have an 80x80cm desk top I'd like to turn standing, any of your frames that will fit?

    • This is quite challenging for me to handle. I kindly suggest reaching out to the support team for assistance with this matter.

      Tel: 03 9120 8818

  • my desk is 220 by 60cm (bunnings worktop on alexa drawers) and my monitor is in the middle. i don’t have much on there but that. would it be okay to get the 120x60 if everything heavy is in the middle or do i need two smaller ones? just worried about synchronising the two together if so….

    • The Agile holds a maximum size of 160cm desktop. 220cm is not recommended.

Combine into 1 desk may works, I think it is a great idea. Please check with the support team assistance with this matter.

  • Hey Rep how much does a 180cm desk cost if I pick it up from your Melbourne store?

    • +1

Prices range from $499 to $679, depending on the frame you choose.

More discounts if you are Teacher & Student, Healthcare Worker, First Responders, government Employees and Military and Veterans.

      https://lazymaisons.com.au/

      • Hi OP, I see that there's further discount for Teacher & Student, Healthcare Worker, First Responders, government Employees but the shipping doesn't seem to be free directly from the website? Thanks

        • Hi pr0d1gy,

Discount on products only. Shipping depends on location. for example, delivery charge for a desk to Christmas Island is likely 3 times the cost of desk itself.

Shipping charges is pretty much the real time quotes from logistics companies + warehouse handling charges.

  • Can you do any deals on the 120x75 desktops by themselves?

  • +2

More discounts if you are Teacher & Student, Healthcare Worker, First Responders, government Employees and Military and Veterans.

    https://lazymaisons.com.au/collections/standing-desk-accesso…

Please buy from lazy maisons website.

    • Hi, can you please confirm if the shipping is free when buying directly from the website with the Affiliate discount? Thank you

      • Shipping charges depend on location. Shipping is extra when buying from website. Please take a look the clearance section. The vintage series is great deal.

  • +1

$75 shipping is killing the deal.

  • Is there Sydney pickup?

    • Hi Kogi,
      Not any more.
Shipping cost from Melbourne to Sydney is not too bad.

  • +1

I bought the dual series 120x75 with oak top last week. Unfortunately paid $399 but the desk is impressive. Very sturdy and the dual motors make it smooth to move up and down. Assembly was very easy, I followed the guide on YouTube. Overall I would recommend them for sure.

  • +1

I bought a frame only then bought a separate solid wood desktop, gave me more flexibility to get the exact size I wanted. Also not paying for the expensive shipping of a large desktop.

If I were to change anything about my setup, I wish I bought a “C” shaped standing desk frame. My knees bang painfully on the cross bar of mine constantly and it means I can never fully pull my chair close to the desk.

  • I have been waiting for this deal ever since your post in June.

Nabbed a 150cm Vintage from the website, $360 as a healthcare worker + $45 shipping. Thanks OP.

Just curious which motor/variant is this? On the website/invoice it just says vintage (I'm assuming it's equivalent to agile?)

    • Dual had a major update this year. I have been told Vintage is Dual equivalent. I believe the Vintage uses the old Dual equivalent motor.

Spec wise they are very similar.

  • Main downside of this model is that it doesn't go very low. Maybe they're updated since i bougth

    • Hi Deals For Days,

      Which model you bought?

Trio? Thats our best one. Agile and dual goes same low.

  • Should I go for 100, 120 or 140kg max load?
There would be 2 monitors on top

    • How many kg each?
      PC Tower? Laptops?
      Speaker?

      • I ended up with Trio 140Kg :-)

  • It is more expensive to buy from your site than ebay.

e.g. Lazy Maisons Dual 120cm Standing Desk - OZ Oak Top (75cm Width)

    on your website: $399
    on ebay: $339 / $330

    • eBay always the best price during major eBay events.
Thats per contract between eBay and sellers who enrolled the events.

Please buy from eBay if eBay price cheaper.

Thats why we only have certain items are cheap on eBay.

Agile desk set is the deal item not Dual.
The price you stated likely to be Agile Desk set not Dual.

Dual and others lazy maisons website is the cheapest.

  • For some reasons, I can only get to AU $389.02 for the 150x75 model

    • My bad. Thats my mistake. Thanks for letting me know. I will update the post now.

  • The 22%off are only available for eBay Plus member. Are you eBay Plus member? In general 20% off.

    • I'm ebay+ member, and that's the price I got - $389.02

      • My bad. Thats my mistake. Thanks for letting me know. I will update the post now.

  • Any possibility for free shipping to Brisbane metro area? If not now, maybe in the future?

    • Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free shipping to the Brisbane metro area at this time, and it is not something we foresee implementing in the future. We appreciate your understanding and support.

  • Hi, I'm looking for just the 180cm tabletop. Do you guys sell it separately?

    • Go to their website, they are still selling them, on clearance too.

      • Not just the tabletop, apparently it's sold out on their website. I already have the table legs but I'm looking to upgrade the tabletop size.

    • The 180cm tabletop is in very limited stock, as we need to reserve it for complete desk sets. Additionally, the shipping cost for this size is quite high, which might make it less practical to purchase separately.

      • Am I able to order 2? I have purchased a complete 2 desk from your company before but I realised I needed the extra length. Also happy to pick up from your Sydney warehouse in Alexandria.

        • +1

For assistance, please contact our support team:

          Email: [email protected]
          Tel: 03 9120 8818

From what I understand, the table top is nearly out of stock.

  • Had a issue with orders and was quickly resolved

Can't wait for my new desk

    Thanks OP !

  • Hi mate, so the weight limit e.g 100kg, does that only matter if im moving the table up and down? Asking because there are times where i need to put heavy electronics on top temporarily. Would it be ok to go over the weight if i don't adjust the height?

    • +1

      Hi Skidexa,

It’s not recommended to exceed the weight limit, even if you’re not adjusting the height. While the table might hold the extra weight temporarily, it could potentially shorten its lifespan.

  • OP, can we pay and pickup at melbourne warehouse?

    • Sure thing. Please let the support team know through eBay Massage.

      • sorry i mean, can we pay cash and pickup at melbourne warehouse?

        • We do not accept cash payment. If you want to see the product before purchase, we have a show room on site.

        • eBay orders cannot self pickup.
