    Just be aware if you live in hot parts of Australia, non-GTX breathable versions will be better.

        Goretex is great for keeping water out and providing some limited breathability. If you're trail running in hot areas, goretex will not be sufficient to keep your feet cool. There will be a lot of sweat.

  Great shoes. Have used Merrill for years. Top quality.

  A shame they all now have the giant Merrel writing plastered on the side. Even more so on black shoe.
