Extra 10% off Storewide (Some Exclusions) @ Chemist Warehouse & My Chemist

4619

Asked a sales lady if by chance anything was coming up for BF and she kindly volunteered this information. Called a few stores to confirm and looks like a goer. I believe the exclusions will be the same as always. Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Excludes: prescriptions, pharmacy only medication & pharmacy medicine, multi-buys, gift cards, baby formula.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2024

Such a waste of time for 10% discount only after price jacking and website can't pick up address as well.

  • I got some bargains early this morning with the extra 10%, good thing I waited for this deal. Nice one OP.

  • 48 minutes waiting time. wtf

  • Been waiting all day to get onto the website… nearly as bad as ticketek!

    • +1

      Not worth the wait imho

  • estimated wait time 46mins

  • 49 mins now.

  • Lol wait time 49 mins, do they not have better servers….

  • +1

Don’t wait as you can’t checkout anyway. Errors with store lookups, address details and payment platform.

  • +1

Your estimated wait time is more than 1 hour…

    Whyyy ?

  • +1

Is the 10% already taken off or additional in basket

    • also want to know. Panamax is $2.99 for a 100 pack. This shouldn't be on the pharmacy only exclusion list as you can buy elsewhere, like Panadol in supermarkets?

      • Put it in my cart and you have to put patient details in so it is unfortunately considered a pharmacy product :(

  • +1

Worse sale ever. Could not even choose click and collect. Keeps coming up as no search found. Never have I seen such a meltdown of their site even in previous BF deals of 10% off…

    • +1

Yep. Gave up. Did delivery. Total discount - 0%

  • +1

So doggy CW what is the point of the sale if you cannot get through all day and no shop to be found when click and collect. Every year CW bad deal.

    • +1

      Yeah C&C won't load… (profanity) bs.. $12 shipping

  • Got to go to the shop. Found half price for blackmores vitamins plus 10%. But too late, bought from Amazon

  • +1

Yep, website is still useless. Cannot select a local store, spinning wheel just times out, over & over again!

  • +1

Can confirm the spinny wheel still from 2300-0015. I gave up. I'm not paying for shipping.

It also looks like the 10% off doesn't apply to my cart.

At least we have till midnight tomorrow to try it.

  • The 10% isn’t showing up for anything. And the store finder still isn’t working for Click & Collect. What a joke.

    • +1

I can change the store for C&C. But the 10% is not showing anywhere, and price is still not discounted on the Checkout page!

      • same, been trying for hours

      • +1

Price is discounted already. Well the perfume was 10% less compare to Thursday at least.

  • +1

I tried since 7am yesterday with either stoopid long wait times or store search failures (spinny spinny or timed out).

Just tried again now and the store search just fails immediately.

  • Anyone been instore? Was the 10% off applied in store?

  • +2

    Storewide… but exceptions.
    Everything… but not everything

    • yep, i found a lot of items i bought didn't have it applied.

  • Prices seem to have gone up - couple of my regular vitamins are higher than their usual price before the 10%

  • +1

    Found the T&Cs Instore

Excludes pretty much most stuff on already in sale, like half pierced skincare and cosmetics. Not sure where the "extra" comes in… 🙄

  • +1

How do you get the 10% to apply for click and collect ?

  • I picked up some triple milled soap earlier today, but the savings were very limited.

Prices on the website have already been reduced. There are no further reductions as far as I am aware.

  • Is it gone? Nothing vitamin is included

  • This is a good one for male its EDP

Messi Eau de Parfum 100ml 3 Piece Set

  • It appears the 10% may be already calculated on the price being shown as I just purchased Ethical Nutrients Magnesium Powder for $37.77 whereas last time i bought when half price it was around $42.00. I was getting frustrated as 10% was not coming off my total no matter what products I was putting in my cart so i went back and checked previous invoices.
I was surprised as one of the exclusions said the 10% was not valid on half price products which this is.
Now i just have to hope my Shopback purchase tracks and I get the 5% cashback.

    • Yep as reported above. Prices were discounted.

    • SAME here.I can't find any 10% discount on my receipt. I placed an order online on Friday.
At the bottom of the receipt it has Zero (0) discount.

How do I complain to ACCC. Panadol is NOT pharmacy medicine nor is it perscription. Why is this 10% excluded!!! You can buy panadol from supermarkets.

    • +1

      I think the large packets (>20 x 500mg) of Paracetamol are Pharmacy (S2 when also <=100 x 500mg) medicines.

These values will be even lower come Feb 2025.

      • Panadol is just an example, did they discount 10% on meds that woolworths sells? Allergy meds, etc?

        • I was responding to what you said and I answered your specific question/exclamation regarding Panadol.

I don't know what they did and didn't discount. I would suggest you try to figure out that detail before you try to figure out how to complain to the ACCC about it.

          • @bargainpersona: not ur fault, but when a store is stocked 50% with 'pharmacy medicine', is it legal to say call it's a 'store wide' sale, then put a small print saying exclude more than half the store?

    • +1

@HK Refugee Currently larger pack sizes (more than 20) of Panadol/Paracetamol products are "PHARMACY MEDICINE" (or Schedule 2) and written on the packaging. Schedule 2 (S2) medicines are available for sale from pharmacies and from licensed retailers in rural areas where no pharmacy is nearby. Supermarkets selling the smaller pack sizes (20 or less) of Panadol/Paracetamol do not have "PHARMACY MEDICINE" on the packaging.

As @bargainpersona mentioned, there will be changes in Feb 2025 due to liver injury and deaths from paracetamol overdose. For example, Paracetamol 100 tablets or capsules will be available only under the supervision of a pharmacist (‘Pharmacist Only’ medicines or Schedule 3). Supermarket pack sizes will reduce from 20 to 16.

      Ref: TGA info.

      • What a ridiculous ruling, that only makes it more expensive to buy such a common drug. Pharma must be very happy with these changes

  • Pediasure is categorised as baby formula, while Ensure is categorised as vitamins and supplements, I hope this can be reconsidered for future promotions.

    Hi All,

I can't find any 10% discount on my receipt. I placed an order online on Friday.
At the bottom of the receipt it has Zero (0) discount.

    • Hi @BTSARMY

You would have received the 10% discount on all eligible items but it wasn't specified on the receipt online.

I had purchased the same item in-store and online for the same price during the 10% discount sale. The receipt in-store shows the 10% discount separately but the online receipt doesn't.

        thank you for clarifying
