Interestingly, buying this at Ebay is cheapest compared to their official HP website.

  Not sure if any of the pre-built vendors here have better specs for $2k, but the price appears to be the standard cyclical price posing a fake discount to appear a better deal.

    I did compare other options , like Nebula. But this specs combination seems a great deal for me.

      You'll want to check if the CPU issues are fixed, and whether HP have any proprietary parts which makes future upgrades difficult. Dell seems to be the worst for it, but not sure if HP do the same too.

  Do hp have a firmware update for the CPU over volting of 14th gen CPUs?

  From memory the thermals aren't great in this case and I don't know if the components are proprietary
