These are a great deal for prescription glasses. I need the 1.67 index thin lenses and this is the cheapest I could find anywhere - $100 total cost. Even cheaper if you don't need the thin lenses.

Shipping is free over $125 or otherwise $10

They are good. Have been buying them for past 5 years.

These guys are incredible value if you want to claim a pair of multifocals under a health fund - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/858393 .

Lens are top notch, much thinner than Specsavers and coatings are included free.

  • Hey OP just a heads up offer doesn't end today - ends Dec 2nd according to the web: https://dresden.vision/au/page/black-friday

Thank you, looks like they have extended it, have updated :)

  • Does that mean they would charge $100 for single vision prescription glasses now? Was $50 not so long ago and I was still trying to adjust to $75 price.
Yes they are good value, but not as good as before.

They haven't been $49 base price for a number of years.

At $50, they are incredible value.

      • Yeah, they were $49 till 2019. We all know inflation and such, but double in about 5 years makes it hit on the face.

But who else does such high quality lens at that price point, and is claimable from a health fund?

I appreciate that you aren't happy with the increase. But still - they are incredible value (and even more so with multifocals).

I don't like that Aldi has gotten more expensive. But they are still cheaper than Coles. It is the same with Dresden.
