A quarter of the price, it's a sweet-as-Kaz deal. I was able to find a local Tool Kit Depot and they price beat this by 5%

  • Awesome. Needed a few spares.
What are you going to do with the 95 cents you saved buying at TKD? Hey I get you. If they offer it we will take them up on it.

Why can’t you pay with PayPal, it’s listed on the site as a form of payment?

    • +1

      I was able to.

    • +1

Option for PayPal disappeared for me, once I logged in. Two CCs failed too.

      Edit: GPay to the rescue.

  • Can I use this to sear meat after sous viding?

    • +2

      You sure can. I do.

The butane torches are almost the same price normal, with much cheaper cannisters and without the weirdly awkward design of this swivel torch.

        • what does this run on? i usually wana melt cheese with this

        • How about the flame output? Would this one be stronger than the normal butane ones? I’ve got a butane and wished it was a bit stronger.

  • Did it come up as an option along with Apple Pay , Afterpay etc ?

  • Thanks OP, I got one :)

  • Cheers. Grabbed the last 3 from my local TKD…!!! ($18.05 price beat)

    • What is tkd

      • Hint: read deal

    does this work on weeds?

    • I'm interested in this too

    • Funny you should ask. I use one on weeds occasionally as it it much faster than my wand style bunnings burner. Probably about 10x hotter . Downside is cylinders are about $13 vs $1.50 and you at a guess only get about 1 expensive cylinder to 3 cheap ones. But time is money as they say……..

      • thanks, how much time does it take to run the tank until empty?

      • can the canister in this deal be refilled?

    • +1

      If you pack the cone

For weed this works very well, cheap and big fire. Uses standard camping portable cookstove canister.

  • Hmm. Thinking of uses.
    Bbq, what else?

    • Bought one, not sure what for, i'll keep you posted. Wasps nests… smores when I don't want to be in campfire smoke.

      • Welcome to the boat 🙃
Oh dear, burning insects, ouch. Wonder which one's more cruel, burning them or poison. We are terrible species aren't we!

    Great for kids thanks

  • Bought one for lighting camp fires… bit of a luxury item I guess

Thanks OP. Was actually looking at the $40 propane kits the other day. I'll have to grab one of these.

Do ya'll think it's worth getting a 'Cigweld 308409 Triple-Point Flame Brazing Propane BlueJet Torch' too seeing as its 1/3 rrp?

    • I just picked it up as well after you mentioned it

    • As in, you're going to get two slightly different propane torches?

      • +1

ya. I only purchased the 308403 though as there's a $5 difference between the individual head & the head+gas.

    • +1

At that price, yes. I have a few gas torches (LPG Propane) and they come in handy for soldering, brazing, heat shrink and lots of other uses.

  • nice! now I just need some marshmallows

  • THanks. I bought one and I have zero idea what I will use it for. But it was 75% off so why not.

  • Thanks, was going to Bunnings to buy some Round Up, this is much more fun (and safe)

Seems like a fake RRP though. Separately the items are $35 and $15.

  • Ohh yeahhhh DIY burned Crème Brûlée here I come.

  • I've wanted one of these for a while and now I have one. Only took 2 days to be delivered.

    • is it possible to refill the cans or need to buy new one each time?
