The butane torches are almost the same price normal, with much cheaper cannisters and without the weirdly awkward design of this swivel torch.

@Roe Jogan: Reading the specs I think it's propane or some specific cigweld mix. Don't think it runs on butane but I'm not sure.
The butane torches from department stores seem to be about $20. This cigweld torch has a great discount but seems a bit overpowered for melting cheese.
How about the flame output? Would this one be stronger than the normal butane ones? I’ve got a butane and wished it was a bit stronger.
