should stack with Amex offer as well.
How do you request for the 15% coupon? Agent is offline.
Just send a msg via online chat form
I can't see any online chat form or button. Do you mean create new case?
Go to live chat > Main Menu > Choosing a machine. It will connect you to an agent.
Thanks, OP! Was eyeing the Bambino and Bambino Plus. Got the 15% code from live chat. :)
You got the BambinoBambino Plus 15% off?
Does this work on the Pro as well?
Got 1 too! FYI, if you go through the Qantas shopping portal you can get 8 points for every dollar spent
So it’s basically free then, that’s what you’re telling me
Thanks, requested discount code and bought one as well.
Edit - got it. Only the dark Stainless Stewl colour at this price.
Received 15% coupon code in 1 minutedid you open the promotion case to get the code? thanks
Online chat to get promotion code
Thank you for this. I went to chat and asked why the same machine looked like a different colour on their website compared to JBHIFI and why it was $10 more and I got a code within seconds. I was about to buy the one from JBHIFI so I am so happy I waited
BES920 for $1146 delivered … decent price. Tried to get JB to price match (have a gift card to use), but no dice :(
Hanging out for a deal kn their smaller stuff, like the bambino plus. Good price here though. Agents are offline while writing this to ask for the discount code.
At this price range the Barista Express Impress is cheaper and has auto (assisted) dosing and tamping https://www.breville.com/en-au/product/bes876?sku=BES876BSS4…
The Impress series is newer, but you have to compare this deal with Barista Touch Impress: https://www.breville.com/en-au/product/bes881
The Pro and Touch have better internals than the Express, so are Pro and Touch Impress than Express Impress
While the Impress series aims to simplify the workflow, it's not as precise as weighing, so it's not for everyone. The Impress certainly different, but not necessarily superior.
Crazy price!
Have a Black Truffle since 2020, a solid performer. Quite like the touch control not needing a lever on the side to switch to and from steam.
The auto frothing function is not great, I do it manually.
Don't forget to register for the free gift offer, I think 4 bags of beans (250g) for this machine: https://www.breville.com/account/en-au/product-registration
2 bags but interestingly the pro which is cheaper comes with 4
Not sure if it's by design, they make it difficult to find out what are the freebies.
I know the Express is 2, because I made a claim for a relo, noticed the Pro is 4, assumed the Touch gets the same. Usually the Oracle series get more substantial freebies.
What is the cleaning and descaling ritual that needs to be performed, do I need to get special cleaners for this?
It's in the manual.
The machine prompts you when it's time to change water filter, clean the frothing tip, and set the machine into cleaning mode. But I don't follow them.
- I use bottled water for convenience, so I don't change the filter as regularly, about once 1 year.
- The box includes a couple of cleaning tablets, I bought a larger pack, use it every 2 months when I thoroughly wash the drip tray and give the machine a wipe down. I clean the frothing tip at the same time.
Some say a puck screen improves the extraction, but I mainly use it to prevent residue backflow. Very noticeable as the drip tray is almost free from coffee grounds.
Breville sells a descale solution, 2 cups a day for 4 years, have not have the need to descale. Not using tap water might have prevented the need, the bottled water (natural spring water from Costco) is pH neutral and contains less calcium and magnesium than Sydney Water's (tap water) analysis.
Still undecided between Bambino, Bambino Plus, and Barista Touch. What are the others getting and why?
From the base, the bambino plus has auto milq (aka auto milk frother), and the barista touch is a larger series.
I feel like Barista Touch may be better value at $849, but if the Bambino Plus drops its price further, I might go for that so I can pick my grinder of choice.
Always go separate grinder
From a practicality point of view, the Bambino/Plus has a smaller tank and drip tray, can become a chore to fill and empty.
But it really comes down to if you need a grinder, if you already have a grinder, maybe just get the Bambino Plus for its smaller footprint.
However, an extra grinder helps to store 2 different type of beans (if you don't single dose), say another household member prefers decaf can use the integrated grinder.
In turns of quality of extraction, they are similar.
Value-wise, at this price, Barista Touch is a no brainer.
Thanks. At the moment, I'm leaning more towards Barista Touch. The other alternative for me is Bambino/Bambino Plus + this Baratza Encore ESP grinder.
struggling to find this live chat. the 'chat with an agent' shows agent offline. where is the live chat option for this?
It's a floating thing, lower right corner, says "chat with an expert".
Thanks. Turns out it does not appear on Safari, had to use Chrome for the chat bubble to appear.
Would this grinder be any better than the one in the Touch? Was thinking could get this with a Bambino plus:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Baratza-Encore-Coffee-Grinder-ZCG4…Weve got the exact same machine, works very well no complaints at all, use it with Aldi Beans cheap and a nice flavour
Which of the Aldi brand is good?
Lazzio Dark
I'm also seeing Amex offer spend $500 get $50 at Breville that would be good to stack this with
Great price! I got one for $978 (black Truffle) from GG 2 days back. It is still packed. Wondering if I can return it for full refund and buy This (Black Stainless Steel) directly from Breville?
How'd you get the black truffle for that price?
Hey, the black truffle was on sale at JB (probably still on sale). Goodguys then matched it. When buying online there is a button ‘Black Friday Live Price Match’. I clicked that and got a further $10 off. Total price - $978.
I just returned the unit back to GG, they proceed the refund and ordered the BSS colour from Breville with 15% discount. Great deal!
Interesting. It's not on sale any more. I've been monitoring the black truffle and havent seen it drop. Was it definitely the barita touch model?
If all my other appliances werent black truffle id just get the black stainless for this price.
@F-22: Yup. Black truffle. It was discounted for a day only i think.
Edit - also keep an eye out on Amazon.
@BuddhaBoy: Damn, no sure how I missed that. Thanks anyway. Deals always come back around.
I paid $1288 for my machine 4 years ago under GGC. I'd say be careful for the ER15 error, it's a known fault. I had it after 5 weeks of ownership, Breville warranty is woeful and took 6 weeks to repair. In defence of the workhorse I've done 5k shots and go to a third party guy now. Only had the er15 twice. For this price listed it's a no brainer! Breville Jet overrated without a dual boiler.
Thanks for the tip for the 15% off code. Got the Bambino Plus for $424!
Got one awesome deal.
I’m tossing up between this or the fully automatic Philips 4300. Does this barista touch require minimal effort on my end and is it fast.
Pro around 1 to 2 mins to get a coffee one you get used to it.
Cannot compare this to Phillips 4300. This will produce much better coffee (and stronger).
grabbed one! was in the market for a new coffee machine . just simply ask the live chat "is there any coupon code for this?" and got one within 1 minute
Great find!
Stacked with Amex Breville online $50 cashback, and Qantas shopping port for around 7000 points.
Didn't use the cashreward as the coupon code is not included in there.Damn that’s actually very tempting!
Thanks OP and everyone else involved to helping us all get an amazing deal!
When combined with the Amex offer it brings it down to $799.15 and purchasing via the Qantas portal gives you a bonus 6792 QF points.
Pulled the trigger and ordered one. I did not have Amex or the Qantas portal thingy, so I tested my luck on Cashrewards as I’ve had some go through in the past even with unique codes. It tracked and shows a $119.28 cashback! If the OzBargain lords give me luck and this approves it will turn out to only cost $729.72!. Fingers crossed :D
It tracked the full amount of $1491.10, with a pending cashback of $119.28.
Tracked AND paid out?
Just tracked atm. Going to take awhile for it to switch to approved & payed out. But in the past my other orders with unique promo codes managed to pay out took like 6-8weeks tho. Just thought why not give it a try test my luck.
@Bonesaw321: Perhaps those stores that paid out didn't have specific special terms about not using codes not listed on CR? Anyway, good luck. Would be an awesome deal for you if it pays out. I'd like to try as well but I might just do the Qantas one.
@zeno: One was from Myprotein and it said in the terms unique promo codes not on CR wouldn’t approve, but it did lol. Ultimately it comes down to pure luck :D. Yeah Qantas store is a safer bet, I just never used that.
Cashback declined 😭
Gah! I just bought this a month ago… what a deal missed.
Try BrevRACV20 to bring this down to $799!! Good Luck.
Damnnnnnn just tested that and it indeed goes down to $799!!. I just sent them a message to see if they can alter my order as it’s still under processing for the $849.
Same here !
Any luck speaking to the support team about getting the reduced price. My order is still processing at 849
The real deals are always in the comments. Hoping the order can be cancelled so I can use this code
Same, Only the true ozbargainers will find these hidden gems, another thing I found is if you have a RACQ membership, there’s new cashback benefits and there’s a 8% cashback on Breville as well
Oh no should I cancel and re order?:)
Legend
Thanks heaps!
Worked for the dual boiler $1080 delivered
Thanks
I got the barrista express for 550$ amazon black friday. Is this worth an extra 300?
From the reviews and at this price I think it’s so worth it. At $799 with that code in comments above. I’d cancel that and go for this, it’s a better unit.
This one or The oracle. I managed to grab a refurbished Oracle for $1175 yesterday from Breville’s ebay store with one year warranty. Keep the Oracle or buy this one. Cheers.
Deal link shows price as $1399?
Too late - Expired ?Press another colour - price will be $999

How this model compare to the bdb
Is this promo code no longer valid anymore "BrevRACV20" ?
Yup, it's been pulled. Got way too much exposure on here.
Its back in stock guys, just grabbed one. Thanks OP.
How much did you get it for, seems like the 799 code doesn’t work no more, did u get a 15% code from live chat for the 849.
Yeah got code from chat for 15% plus Amex 50 aud cashback offer. so final price for me was 800
Back in stock . Also the one I ordered from Saturday is now saying shipped
This came in the post today and I used it for the first time. Is the portafilter suppose to be a bit difficult to secure into the machine? Is this because its new and will become looser over time?
Yeah I feel you gotta use it for a abit to break in. It should be more smoother over time. Happened with my last coffee machine.
Thanks.
I got mine. I’m absolutely loving it! Best coffee machine I’ve ever owned. Also reduce grind time to 11seconds or less. It makes it easier to insert portable when it doesn’t have as much coffee.
Still have 15% code from livechat?
Does this promo code qualify for any of the rewards programs?
