ATL on a highly reviewed pair of true wireless earbuds from Technics. Allegedly sound profile is clear, flat and bass is not overbearing but YMMV - sound is very subjective. ANC and mic apparently not the greatest compared to Sony XM5, Bose QC Ultra, Airpods Pro 2 but quite usable.

Of course, combine with those 10% Amazon GCs you bought to bring it down to $305.91 - an even lower ATL.

Enjoy! (please buy out the stock so I am not tempted)

  • I have AZ80 and the mic is meh at best. Not for calls and I say this for those who believe in their "just my voice" feature.

Read reviews that it's not very comfortable, but the sound is brilliant.

    • Thanks, stop me from pulling the trigger without testing fitment

It's obviously subjective but in terms of comfort, I find them to be good compared to a few others I have used..

I would refer you to my review here before even considering this

    • Thanks for the review, so do you have any experience with the Bose qc1, qc2 or qc ultra?
      And the Sony xm5?

Looking for high quality buds without going with headphones

      • These are only my second pair, since I was happy for so long with my Sennheiser CX200s (handed them down to mum, still work perfectly fine)

And since they costed so much, can't bring myself to buy another pair so soon. Obviously i feel like i made the wrong choice when i was tossing between these and the Sony's.

Bose I never considered because they lack multipoint. Unforgivable sin at this price point.

In my experience having tried many different earbuds, tips can only do so much. The shape and size of the housing actually matter a lot in terms of comfort, because an unsuitable shape will apply uneven pressure and cause discomfort over time. This will obviously be different for everyone but some shapes are more forgiving than others. Having not tried the AZ80 yet, I can already tell it will likely cause me discomfort with my smaller than average ears. I also own a Senn MTW3 which are slightly smaller but are already on the edge between comfort and discomfort.

I've pivoted now to stem-style earbuds and they are generally much better for comfort for my ears (I own 3 of them lol)
