Sorry to anyone who may have bought a pair of these from my deal a week ago, it looks like they've dropped a further $28 which is now getting very close to the all-time low of $349 back in Sep 2023.

I'm not sure whether I should wait just a little bit longer to see if it'll go down even more before grabbing a pair. At the same time, although nothing has been announced I suspect it might be soon for Technics to release the next gen of these buds, perhaps early 2025.

These are a really solid pair of earbuds, and I've seen many audio reviewers show really good results for these comparable (or better) than the other big name brands, depending on what your personal use-case/criteria are.

  • I bought last week but to be honest they were direct from Amazon AU weren’t they, meaning at least 2 years warranty under ACL.

I've had these for almost a year now.
I only hope anyone reading this would trust me when I say AVOID.

At this price tag you'd expect something super high-end and high quality, and you'd be wrong.

There's nothing here to justify the price tag.
The sound quality isn't any better than my old Sennheiser CXs.
The charging case battery life is abysmal now after less than a year.
The latency is terrible, especially if you decide to use LDAC codec. Even on AAC it frequently goes out of sync.
The comfort is not great, despite what review outlets say.
Those same review outlets praised the "exceptional mic quality", yet everyone I talk to complains that they can't understand me. (Really makes me question the creditably of these reviewers now)

I would also avoid this company in general, since they had promised multiple firmware updates and additional features (such as L3C codec) and backfilled on it.

For the sake of balance, noise cancelling is decent…
    And…
    That's about it (:

I agree that the built quality is not that great.
The case feels cheap and it scratches far more easy than many others I have owned (including cheaper buds).

I have not used them long enough to evaluate the tech but I am somewhat disappointed with the way multipairing works on these.

      • Oh yeah that's another major pain point that i forgot to mention,
There's no way to customise multipoint. It randomly decided that my shield TV takes highest priority and everytime someone plays anything on the TV my buds get hijacked and i can't take control back. Extremely annoying. Had to unpair it from the TV…

Basically the app is so useless it doesn't show what the buds are currently paired to and what has control.
