    Just bought replacement batteries for my XM3 earbuds. Was thinking of getting the XM5 to replace my Airpod 2 when the battery deteriorates but turns out Sony has followed Apple's brave innovative steps and made it impossible to replace.

    Still an okay price once you shift your mindset and treat these as disposable earphones after a year or two. It is jarring when I compare it to my working Sennheiser IE8s that I bought 15 years ago though.
