Terrible fridge & terrible customer service.
Kings get a 2/10 from me.

Oh really what happened - did you try this model?
I have never used Kings fridges so I cant say much about them

While I don’t own this exact model, I’ve had extensive experience with Kings products in the past.

Their aggressive sales tactics, lack of commitment to warranty claims, and misleading pricing strategies in their newsletters have been consistent issues. The constant rotation of “deals” and item combos makes it nearly impossible to determine the actual price of a single product.

During my last visit to a 4WD Supacentre two weeks ago, the staff tried to upsell me with a “2 buckets for $20” deal. When I mentioned I already owned a bucket, the salesperson replied, “Well, for $20, you can own two more.” Thanks, but no thanks.

Bought this exact fridge from the eBay store and it wouldn't cool properly. Took it back 2 later as I had been advised to do. Was sent away because I didn't have a claim number or proof of purchase (I picked it up from the store I returned it to) Went home got the code and retirned. No one available to help because I was an eBay customer. Left it after waiting half an hour and asked someone to call. No response for 4 days till I drove back to the store. No-one had looked at it. eBay customer service responded a week later with an answer to a question. Get told to go back in as there was nothing wrong with it. Last time dealing with kings. They also made me go through the side doors consistently so I wouldn't trigger the customer counter and bugger the sales ratio. Lesson learnt.

  • Damn it, I was looking to buy a console fridge

    • This one is half price https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256463921260 - probably better quality based on feedback

8l is too small, I want to take it on overnighters.

I'll wait for the 15l kings one to go back on sale, it still uses seacop compressors based on their website.
