  This price for the Speed Editor was floating around for a little while before the price cut on Davinci Resolve Studio I think – was a steal when the Speed Editor with Davinci Resolve Studio was only $100 more than Studio on its own, but slightly less tempting now that it's $200 more.

  If they drop the Speed Editor to $475 though…

  I agree with the premise that getting the license with some hardware is good but not id get use out of the speed editor to justify the price
