Happy Friday Ozbargainers, we're joining in with the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale specials!

I've managed to convince the Powers That Be to discount more items than we've ever done before, including a few commonly requested products. The discount amounts vary across the board, but I've put together the highest discounts possible on all of our items below!

This is, without a doubt, the largest sale we've ever launched with nearly 1,000 products discounted.

Garage Roller and Panel Door Openers

10% off Merlin Garage Door Openers (Roller and Panel Kits)

10% Off Below Gate Opener Brands
Ditec Gate Openers
Centsys Gate Openers
BFT Gate Openers
Merlin Gate Openers

The sale includes Centsys range of sliding gate openers only, but it does include their 240V, Low Voltage and Solar kits.
Merlin's full range of swing and slide 240V and Low Voltage kits are up for grabs.
BFT and Ditec's range of swing and slide openers are included with this sale.

Replacement Car Keys and Cases
Replacement Car Keys

We've included all 25 brands of car keys and cases that we offer! If you're unsure of which one you need, just send a photo.

Seals
Garage Roller Door and Floor Seal

The floor seal sticks to the ground and helps stop mice, leaves and dirt from entering the garage. When used with the correct sealant, you can also use this as a door dam, to stop water from seeping in.

As usual, I'll be lurking in the comments during the sale period to answer any garage door or gate questions that you may have, whether it's related to our sale or not. Always happy to help!

  • I have a garage door I manually pull up, I presume if I want this I need access to a power point?

Additionally, do these need professsional installation?

    • Hi mate, yes you would need a standard 240V power point. Most openers come with a 2-2.5m long power cord.

Whilst the manufacturers will recommend professional installation, reality is that as long as you are reasonable handy you can safely install yourself. There are a wealth of installation videos on the internet showing you how you could install a garage door opener. Bunnings made one for the Chamberlain/Merlin openers, ATA made one for their GDO6v3 and Auto Openers have a video for each of their openers. Interestingly, there is no certificate or qualifiction to become a garage door technician.

  • Any of these gate openers compatible with Home Assistant out-of-the-box? Alternatively, do any of them have terminals where you could wire up your own dry contact bridge? Feel like I've heard BFT might be able to do so?

    • Hi mate, unfortunately no. Long story short, garage door and gate folks in Australia arn't the most inventive. Someone told their inhouse engineer to make an app to open and close the gate or door and that's exactly what we got, with no expanded functionality.

The Remootio 3 kit is perfect for taking it all that bit further. I have mine synced up at home and have an aging Pixel phone, I just shout at Google to open my door and it does just that. Closest the first party hardware got was the Centsys Smart range, which has Bluetooth capability out of the box.

All gate openers come with a set of terminals to allow you to wire in external devices, so you'd be fine with whichever brand you went with :)

Thanks, this is super useful. Any pointers on which one to go for brand-wise? Might give you guys a ring.

        • Happy to help! The gate manuals should have a full breakdown of what each terminal does, but if you end up buying one and get stuck, feel free to reach out and one of our techs can help.
