LG OLED77C4PSA 77" OLED Evo C4 4K Smart TV $3981 + Delivery ($0 C&C/In-Store) @ Harvey Norman

260

First discount on the 77" after the terrible initial BF discounts.

Obligatory screw Harvey's so price match at JB's if you can.

I am personally holding until at least the <$3800 range but someone may want one now.

  • No bueno trying to get a better price out of jb via live chat. Not too bad if you got the 10% off gift cards the other day

    • Yeh they are scummy. Go the goodguys.

Still kicking myself for not getting it from this deal

We know what they can discount to though, so worth waiting.

    Hodl

  • Price matched with JB. I know it might go slightly cheaper, but kids smashed the old OLED (lasted 10 years!) few weeks ago so wanting a TV sooner rather than later.

    • Oh snap, what did they do to the OLED? That's a very sad day

      • +1

They were playing with walkie talkies and my son got a bit too animated near the TV and accidentally hit it. Put a small chip in it and now just shows a white vertical line when turned on.

After a decade I kinda wanted to upgrade soon anyways. Insurance paid out in cash so I only ended up paying around $1k for the 77". Going from a 55" FHD OLED to this is going to be one helluva upgrade!

Sad to hear mate. I have a feeling you are going to have an excellent experience with these new versions!

        • +1

Hey, what kind of insurance is that?

Stacks with child trade in… so i hear

  • Would the average person notice the difference between c4 and g4?

TV deals has been very disappointing this BF

    • Still early

  • $3971 "price beat" on the TGG website now.

Does Cashrewards work on expensive purchases like TVs or do they exclude them? CR for TGG is 8% today, so theoretically that's $317.68 cashback. Has anyone had experience with cashback on TV purchases?

    • Cashback is ineligible on the following:
      - Apple, ASKO, Miele, AEG, Neff, Bertazzoni, FFalcon, La Germania, Loewe, Playstation 5, Playstation 5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series X 1TB, negotiated deals (phone/email/chat), purchases via The Good Guys Commercial website, home services, concierge.
      - Purchase of gift cards, and any amount paid with gift cards.
      - Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
      - Purchases via the merchant's mobile app.
      - Purchase that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
      - GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
      - Fraudulent transactions.
      - Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

from the CR conditions for cashback it looks like the price beat makes it ineligible for cashback but the good thing is that TGG have lowered their price to 3995.
i was wanting to buy the LG soundbar at the same time for that $500 discount promotion but now im worried that its going to make the cashback ineligible.

      • Oh damn. Didn't realise they replaced the 10% with 8%. Cheeky bastards

      • according to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/877904 people have gotten cashback tracked and paid out using the price beat button on the TGG website
but i cant see anything about the bundle deals…..

        • +2

Just tried and it has tracked for me. $290.54. No sound bar

          • @RDS: yeh i did the same, just the tv without the soundbar as i was only interested in the soundbar at the reduced price and i wasnt going to take a chance on it.
looks like the cashrewards cashback for TGG is reducing by 2% every couple of days. its down to 6% now.

  • Buy from Domayne and get 10% worth of gift card.
