Probably not a good bread trimmer, likely better as a beard trimmer.

Yep don't want to do my dough on this.

Bought one full price earlier this year. It isn't good for fine lines or detailed work… just in case anyone needs it for that. Philips Norelco used to be much better for that.

On the plus side, the edges are not too sharp and it never feels like it's going to cut the skin. Feels very safe. And the motor is solid.

    • Would it be a good option for the more sensitive area?

      • Never tried it. But the blade gets exposed even with the settings dialled to the lowest, with the attachment on. So I'm not sure. It's one thing feeling safe on the face vs on a more sensitive area.

I can try over the weekend and let you know… Ha ha

        • Haha. No, pls dont risk. Wouldnt want the precious ones to get nicked. I have been at the receiving end a few times and boy it bleeds. All good, your response indicates the risk level, so will skip. If anyone has a recommendation for the more sensitive areas, please share the link. TIA

  • My son is looking for a trimmer to keep a short beard tidy.
Is this good enough or something better at this price or the one below?

  • Same price on amazon as well: https://amzn.asia/d/fpv9UoX

  • I've got one of these and I hate it.
Had it a few months and I'm going to chuck it and get something better.
The guard does not always clip on properly and when this happens, what should be a number 6 turns into something like a number 2 and before you realise you have butchered a giant strip of hair off and have to trim it all to try and fix it.
Last week I double checked the guard and it still did it.

It is also crap at trimming the lines at the edges of your beard, it just doesn't seem to remove the hairs without going over them 50 times.

I'm looking for something better if anyone has suggestions

    • Thank you. Will cancel my order
