Black Friday Sale
Looking at the history on OzBargain, it doesn't look like Desky does sales often?
Good quality, highly reviewed stuff.

Hmm good to know. I haven't bought anything from them yet but I'll be buying a couple of monitor arms at a friends recommendation.
Hmm, interesting to hear your experience and opinion. I'm still interested more in the Desky (either bamboo or hardwood though, not melamine) due to their better cable management solution with integrated power points and their heavy duty PC mount that can hold up to 30KG.
I have a Desky desk but I don't know how to feel about it. Buying experience was straightforwad and quick delivery and assembly. However while it can handle the weight with no wiggle (two monitors PC setup) and the cable management is great, the desk top surface quality itself is subpar. Within a week every little mark and mark was showing, especially on the edges (from the tiniest chair bump).
I talked to support about this it (looks like a known issue?) and they sent me a new desk top surface on their behalf, impressive service.
Unfortunately the new desk has exactly the same quality so I'm babying it to prevent scratches, if you could do the same then you will like the desk!
Could be the rubberwood desk variant that I bought and maybe I should have gone hardwood?
It’s funny cause I picked the melamine and don’t like it, I tell myself “I should have gone for the rubber wood” and here you are with the rubber wood saying “i should have gone with the hardwood”
The hardwood bumps the price up a lot so it’s a shame that Desky seem to have poor quality tops.
I've got an ikea desktop I wouldn't mind making in to a standing desk, would you say the legs are solid?
The legs are almost identical to my Omnidesk legs - which has been faultless since 2019. It seems most companies are using the same motors and legs. They’re all very heavy duty.
I went with StandDesk, I’d seen too many bad comments for Desky. My sister loves hers though, so it’s not all negative.
Yeah, nah. I bought two Omnidesks over the years. My brother bought one, too. They’ve always been easy to deal with, and the products are top tier quality.
I needed a corner electric standup desk recently and Omnidesk don’t have them. So I landed on Desky. They were super painful to deal with when my item didn’t arrive as expected, wouldn’t honour the Black Friday sale despite the ($50 different in price on a $2100 item) sale being live before I had even received my items, even though Desky didn’t meet their own delivery process. And, to top it off, the table top quality is far from the Omnidesk. I think everyone is using the same feet and motors, so there’s no change there. But the top is very poor quality melamine on the Desky. The Omnidesk melamine is very high quality and easy to keep clean.
This will be my last Desky, for sure.
