The product itself is fine and they seem to be getting better with software updates in terms of speed and duration. Picked up th phone yesterday at JB (which is also on sale). Feels good in the hand and responsive. Cant compare to pixel 9 pro or s24 ultra but its 1/5 of the price

I'm also interested in battery. I've just bought a moto g85 (5000mAh) which I'm happy with battery life, but have to believe that the 4310mAh would have significantly less battery life. Would love if anyone could share a comparison (or run times for both devices from the same tester online).
I'm a moderate user, plenty of browsing and Pokemon through the day and I have yet to need to charge it before bed. I hit 10% at about 10pm last night.

Ouch, bought this a couple of months ago for $599 after a discount. Always painful to see
The phone is actually pretty good, ticked all the main boxes for me… not too big, wireless charging, NFC, great screen, telephoto and wide angle camera lenses, long software support, nice design (though the edges do feel just a little too plasticky). Was nervous about the Mediatek but it runs just fine (coming from a long line of Pixel phones) and the battery life has been impressive. Bit of a sleeper hit I reckon.

It actually comes with a basic case. I just use an old Pixel USB->3.5mm adapter, though mainly use bluetooth ones anyway.
What's your experience with the camera been? A bit laggy at times?
I've found the camera acceptable but it's not the fastest around. It's not going to compete with a flagship of course though. I've been trying to wean myself off feeling the need for the best camera in the world, having had Pixels for years, as so many phones are "good enough" these days in most other respects… For a mid-range phone, having the 3 lens options is great. So far I'm pretty happy with it… would be even happier if I got it at this price though!
You can install Gcam mod (Google Camera) to improve photo quality. Lower noise/ISO too with night sight or even astrophotography.
