also works for the ax1800 version

    • Updated with other qualifying items, thanks.

  • First I heard of Merusys brand, how are they compared to TPlink for example?

    • +1

Pretty sure it is the no-frills version of TP-link. I have no experience with Mercusys, so unable to comment directly, I'll let you know once I get it. They have decent ratings on amazon though.

they are budget TP link i believe, im using their wifi 6 router and they're quite stable and usable

      • ill add that their configs are bit light side but for average home user it should be enough.

  • got it, thanks for the insights

  • is this worth upgrading from Orbi RBK23? I am hesitant because this is only dual band, as my satellite units are not connected using ethernet cable. However, I do wish to improve the coverage as my wifi battery cameres are right at the front gate and back fence.

  • I was thinking of buying TP-LINK DECO x55 but went for this instead. Thanks

  • Went to checkout. Got an error because sold out. :(

  • Well that was fast..

Haha thanks, I was pretty happy with it too.

Thanks. Grabbed the 2 pack (that's all I need) and dongle for $108.

  • 3 pack now at $249

  • Just check your credit cards for anyone who ordered this deal. My card showed an extra $100 charge linked to my order. Had to jump onto Amazon chat to get to the bottom of it. Apparently extra authorization will disappear overnight, hopefully.

  • The checkout with the router and dongle is $185, not $148 for me
(It is showing router sold by PCLIVE, not Amazon so probably that)

They bumped the price back up after it was "sold out"
