Which BF Day Will See Lowest Prices on SSD?

It used to be Black Friday then Cyber Monday now they're trying to stretch it out over 2 weeks, may as well run it all the way till boxing day sales. Anyway I'm after a 2tb NVME drive and my dilemma is which day to buy on, will Friday 29th be the best deal or a cyber monday whenever that is?? Is there a pattern when computer components are at their low point that I'm not aware of??

I waited to long on Prime day and the prices went back up, my poor 512gb nvme drive is begging for relief;)

  • Most BF sales have started already. If there is one or two places you prefer who haven't, then wait a little bit longer.

Amazon I believe has already started BF sales as of yesterday.

Yeah, I've been monitoring prices but nothing close to prime day deals yet

Look at last years deals to get an idea of prices.

I'm half thinking of a 4TB myself but I could also just stop digital hoarding.

    • That's a good start, Ideally 2tb Samsung 990 pro will be $200 or less within the next 2 weeks.
Sorta OT: Strangely my 3 camels seems to have lost price history on most things I've checked recently, is that just me or a known problem?

what are you looking to pay ideally?

Silicon Power 2TB US75 PCIe Gen4 R/W up to 7,000/6,500 MB/s M.2 - is on BF sale at Umart for $153 for 2TB and $280 for 4TB, 4TB might even be posting deal worthy?

    • The SP 2TB seems like a good deal but I'd feel safer with a Samsung 990 pro or WD 850. If they get to below $200 for 2TB then I'll commit but I'd prefer not to buy on the Friday and see they were 20% cheaper on the Monday!

  • Well one thing is for sure don't wait till Cybermonday for SSD deals as nothing new at all.

I'd say the best deals were during the week before BF. Amazon was probably best for WD and Samsung especially with cash back and discount gift cards while local retailers had better deals on Lexar, Teamgroup etc.
Lets see what boxing Day brings!
