I was looking for a decent soundbar Seems decent for Dolby atmos soundbar and Bose brand

https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/bose/smart-soundbar-…

The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 is satisfactory for mixed usage. It reproduces dialogue in your favorite TV shows with clarity, along with detailed voices and instruments in many different music genres. With its TrueSpace technology, you enjoy additional height effects, even when you listen to stereo and 5.1 surround content. Aside from its bass and treble adjustments, there aren't many customization tools, though, and you'll need to add on a sub and satellites if you want better bass reproduction and surround sound.

PROS
Dolby Atmos support.
Separate sub and satellites available.
CONS
No EQ.
Lacks low-bass.

  • Just FYI , Bose didn't include Google Assistant in this one.

  • +1

Don't bother buying I got one and it sucks, connectivity is useless I'm about to throw it out the window

    • Thanks. I was looking at that. Probs gonna wait for a good samsung one when in sale.

    • What connectivity?

I just want one for dolby atmos via hdmi

    • You use BT or chromecast or something else?

    • Optical cable worked just plugged in. To get HDMI connecting properly had to download Bose app and fiddle with settings which took trial & error. Very aggravating process

      • Cool ill try optical cable…. Don't think I'm the only one having these issues https://www.reddit.com/r/bose/s/pY62EjNCU2

        • You have to connect cable to correct HDMI outlet on tv and select same in the Bose app or you get problems. Optical cable only has one outlet so no issue

    • i have this soundbar and would also advise to not buy it.

There is a issue with connection from LG tvs to Bose soundbar, all was working fine then one day no sound at all.
after days looking at forums etc i found that the HDMI that comes with the soundbar is no good.

upgraded to a High Quality HDMI 2.1 and has been working ever since.

some people online don't even get it to work out of the box.

  • Might just be my unit but it rarely stays connected via hdmi or Bluetooth…. When it works its great
