its like easily been obtainable at $1100 and below… now its superceded, would wait for the arc ultra to be similarly discounted.
Wait 4.5yrs
Hm.. what's the main upgrade with the arc ultra compared to this? Main thing I noticed is arc ultra has Bluetooth. Anything else I'm missing?
Sonos recently acquired Mayht Holding BV
better speakers built i guess

Do I bite the bullet? This soundbar has been in the market for 4 years and never had one.
Would I even know if the Ultra was any good if i started at the arc?
I am looking for Sonos Sound Bar as well, but I think I will wait for Ultra with the Upgrade Product Programme.
Tough because at $904 it seems ripper value…vs the ultra at double the price
@iNeed2Pee: Yes, at $904 the ultra won’t be able to compete
I could KISS you! Ty Ty
Doh, SNSM11 does not work for me with a $4 item -_-
no longer valid
It's also the same price on the Good Guys website, and they have 12% cash back at CR today, might be worth checking out.
Kudos to you for mentioning the CR - it tracked instantly and now the price is down from $986 to $877.35 after cashback. Whopper price tbh.
What makes this so expensive?
Braviaaa Theatre 9 is what I'm keeping my eyes on
Compared to the Samsung Q930D on commercial at $968, which one?
I have many Sonos products and a fan but for your home theatre just go with the Samsung q990d or q930c, it's a no brainer and comes with rears and sub. I have it and it's awesome . I don't regret not getting the sonos arc as you'd need to get the sub and rears and it quickly adds up. Only valuable if you play more music than home theatre.
Do you have the ARC?
No because I didn't like it when I heard it. The vocals weren't great and you need to pay so much more for the sub and The rears. I do have gen 1 beam and IKEA surrounds and they are really good but no sub or atmos.
Samsung Q930 because it comes with rears and sub
I have Q990C I can tell you that even though Samsung is a great soundbar, Sonos is on different league. Sonos arc with the sub sound is just more crisp and it has more details. However, in terms of value Samsung wins hands down. If you wait for a good deal on Samsung you can get Q990D close to $1000 for a complete set with rears and sub. With Sonos you would need to spend at least double the amount which probably about 20% better in sound quality
At this price you could wait for the 990D, ive got the 990B and loving it, no intention of upgrade.
Picked one up for $915 shipped (added $4 item as per blueboy410 above), thank you OP!
Wife got me this and I paired it up with couple of ikea Sonos for the rear, it sounds awesome. Even my kids thought someone was walking up the hallway cause it sounded so real.
This one?

$300 is a bit overprice?
I left the Sonos Arc page open for a few minutes and got a pricebeat pop up bringing it down to $986. With the 12% CR brings it down to 878.44 which could be the cheapest ever?
Great price OP. I'm looking for a Sonos Beam for my shed but hard to beat this at this price. Might upgrade the Beam with this Arc in the kids lounge and put the Beam in the shed.
is the soundbar itself good enough for a 4m x 4m theatre room?
Its an excellent soundbar but it will depend on what you want/need. The beauty of the Sonos system is you can get the soundbar to begin with, and after using for a while you can add sub and/or rears as required, perhaps when they go on sale too.
I have the Arc paired with Sub gen 3 and sonos ones for rears.
I don't plan to have rears so might just get the soundbar first and then a sub mini later on. Cheers.
Or add a cheaper item and use PLUS120 for $100 off.
Adding the official wall mount is not bad, but the HN offer is slightly cheaper in reality.
I used CashRewards for the purchase of $983 (the pricebeat price). The CR app says the amount paid was $905.45 and cashback reward is $90.54.
Is it normal for Cash Rewards to display an incorrect purchase amount? I haven’t used CR in a few years.
I take it I just log a ticket with CR to get the purchase price and cashback corrected?
Looks like CR doesn’t include GST into the purchase price
really? I think they've used total price
All cash back are excluding GST, had this issue when I first started using cash back.
Does it ship with Sonos original package or with an extra carton to pack it?
Will let you know when I get mine! Out of curiosity- what difference does it make?
Thanks heaps mate. Would like to ship it oversea as a Xmas gift.
Super price OP, discounts on these have been so few for the past year.
