    What's the difference between the Sal and the Gel? Why'd you go for one over the other?

      T/Sal has 3% salicylic acid in it, rather than the Coal Tar. It's strong stuff.

      My wife has had some success with using face washes with salicylic acid in it to control acne, and she had a breakout of dandruff I wondered if it would work in shampoo, which is when I found the T/Sal, so thought I'd give it a whirl (I have quite bad psoraisis on the scalp)

      So far, so good - I have only used it twice but I will say I feel it has definitely improved things.

      EDIT - as for why I went for this over T/Gel - I never found T/Gel was a significant improvement over regular shampoo for my psoraisis.

  I bought this last month and it worked really well but I threw mine out after i saw the class action against this product for containing harmful substances.
