I think I paid this a few years ago. its a good machine just the grinder its pretty average. if you want a better grind you would need a separate better grinder for that. Note its not good for light roasts that build in grinder so stick to medium and dark.
Great price. Got mine for $1720 2 years back and use it every day. Just bought one for mum last month $1690 @ TGGC. Haven’t seen it this low in all that time. Typically hovers around $1750-1850 on sale.
Do not buy this unit at RRP.
Consider calling TGG(C) and price beat.
Can also vouch for this machine. Been using it for 3 years now. The integrated grinder isn't perfect, but it is incredibly convenient with the auto grind and tamp.

Can you do manual espresso eg start stop manually like on the 920 with this? Similarly can you stream milk manually or have to use the auto?

Not sure, normally an item will sell out and will come back in stock at the same price, but in this case the discount was removed so not sure if it met a threshold for that price or someone stuffed up and it might comes back? Dunno, just keep an eye out from now till Black Friday I guess, good luck
Hmmmm…. what to do. I've got a JB cart price match for this @ $1600 that expires at midnight. Been patiently waiting on a BDB deal, and have a new Mazzer Mini-B patiently sitting in it's box. I have no intention of using the inbuilt grinder, so now I need to weigh up if the other features are worth it
