No, not really. I didn't have MSR. I just had Hubba Hubba. I've only just heard of this tent via Naturehike tent posts so didn't really know what info to put.

actually need a tent for christmas trip , are there better option for the money or is this a killer deal and a great tent ?
I've had two of them. It is a geat deal for bushwalking as it is reasonably light. If that's what you want it for, unless you're going to see alot of snow this is one hell of a deal.
I'd get the footprint too as the base, while waterproof, isn't super sturdy unless you're pitching on lush lawns or easy to clear of debris camp-sites.
