Good price on this Mini PC if you're after something that packs more of a punch than the Intel N100 offerings on a budget. Especially considering you're getting 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD.

Features include Windows 11 Pro (activated), AMD Ryzen 7 5825U 8 core, 16 thread CPU, 32GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM (2x 16GB), 1TB M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD, additional M.,2 2242 SSD slot, 2x USB-C 10Gbps with display 4K@60Hz & 15W PD passthrough, 2x HDMI 4K@60Hz, 2.5G LAN, WiFi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps, 2x USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and an inbullt fan for cooling.

  • Apply the $160 off coupon under price.

Alternatively you can get the 16GB/512GB variant for $227.30 with the $150 off coupon.

Or the Ryzen 5 6600H 32GB/1TB 512GB varaint for $295.30. I personally wouldn't get this as the 6600H is on par with the 5825U and only has 6 cores, 12 threads instead of 8 cores and 16 threads found in the 5825U.

Well, I've seen enough mini PC deals to buy now and ask questions later. And I'm pretty glad I did!

  • +1

I've never heard of this brand. I'm intrigued though.

  • +1

this brand origimagic link on amazon, lead me to a magical world….

  • +2

Use ZIPBFS + zip payment for extra $15 savings.

  • +3

Get the 6600H, this is not the U variant. It's also has the 660M GPU. The processor has a base of 3.3Ghz instead of 2.0ghz, DD5 instead of 4.

    • +2

      Ah yes that's a good point I didn't consider.

      • I'm a little confused, the 6600H listing appears to come with a 512GB SSD instead of 1TB?

        • +1

Blocked from editing the deal so who knows now haha

    • probably 6600H gets single digit % better ST performance and worse MT performance given the same case & fan.

      another difference in specs: USB-C 4.0 4k@120Hz (6600H) vs 4k@60Hz (5825U)

      and 660M supports AV1 decode?

    • Thanks for this reminder about the gpu, 100 bucks more expensive but i went with beeklink eqr6 which has the 6600H

If you plan on using a mini pc for media streaming ala Jellyfin/Plex, stick with Intel. Quicksync doesn't have an AMD equivalent. Anything else, AMD is the bees knees.

    • This. I only bought an EQ12 for intel quicksync. Everything else is handled by my various AMD machines.

  • Title says dual 2.5gb lan but seems only 1 on photo.

    • Yes that's a typo. Looking at images from Amazon US it's single LAN.

  • Would this game reasonably when paired with an external gpu does it have fast enough usb-c ports does anyone know ?

    • You'd need a thunderbolt port (or possibly usb4 depending on the spec of the port I think?) so no dice on this one.

    • They're only 10Gbps ports and too slow. You'd be wanting Thunderbolt.

      • There are two 10Gbps usb4 ports though

The Ryzen CPUs with integrated USB4 controller do support Thunderbolt 3. Because that compatibility is part of USB4. They are just not certified by Intel for TB3 or TB4. And TB4 is a certification for USB4. So there would be no technical differences. 2 TB4 devices would have a USB4 connection between them.

  • anyone heard of this brand , probably has generic ram and ssd, how long is warranty

  • buy then question self why buy

    • I dont even have the chance to buy, all gone …

      • I pulled the trigger when saw "last 3 left" đŸ˜„

  • +1

all over waited too long again lol

  • what are these actually for??

  • All codes gone wtf ?

    • these deal don't last long.

  • Seeing it’s got 2 USB-C ports with display and 2 HDMI ports, can I assume that I can hook this up to 4 external monitors at the same time?

  • All coupons ARE GONE. Snooze.

  • +1

PSA for all of those who managed to snag one - highly recommended to do a clean OS install before you set it up.

  • damn :(

  • Should I buy the 6600H $295 one in the link or a 4 year old used mac Mini M1 for $400 on Facebook?

  • What do I need to look for in a mini PC to ensure it's good?

  • Did this pull this (and variants)? I can't open the links or search for the brand name.

    • Yes they removed all links.

  • most the listing are removed, this is a bit sus.

    • It's fulfilled by Amazon and the global sites have reviews. I suspect they set the price way too low and removed them.

      • +2

The N1 32GB + 1TB is currently going for $299 USD on Amazon.com so I think you're right… Seller probably forgot to factor currency conversion into their pricing.

      • So everyone got their orders or getting cancelled?

        • +2

I think these orders are fulfilled by Amazon, i.e. the products are already sitting in Amazon warehouses waiting to be shipped. There's a good chance the seller will be pushing Amazon to cancel these orders, but I'm hopeful a few will slip through the cracks due to the Black Friday rush and get packaged and shipped out, in which case it would be too late to cancel.

      • just had a look at global amazon searching Ryzen 5 6600H , "BOSGAME" has the exact case as "ORIGIMAGIC"…seems like a rebranding and their rep isn't bad.

        • Ooh, thanks for the tip. It looks like BOSGAME has an official website with BIOS and driver updates which is a huge relief… I was a little worried about not being able to find the right drivers after reinstalling Win11.

        • +1

Yep nearly all of them are rebadges from the same few companies. This brand seems to be more focused on Japan where mini PCs are massively popular.

  • Annoyed I missed this, but still in the market for a mini PC. Can anyone give their opinion of this or recommend a better alternative?

    • You looking for a cyberpunk 4k 100fps beast?, or minesweeper?

      • Just something of good value around the $300 mark. Not a hard-core gamer, but wouldn't mind being able to play a few middle of the road games. But more importantly don't want something that is completely out of date in a few years time.

        • +2

Within $300 your options are pretty much limited to budget Intel N100 boxes and the like.

It's possible to game on a N100 mini PC at minimum settings, but the performance is Not Greatâ„¢ and you probably would not enjoy the experience… unless you enjoy suffering.

As @Clear puts it, for middle of the road gaming you'll probably want something that punches at least one level above the N100s, but that will usually land you in the $400+ range… Save for the occasional pricing errors like this.

Did people actually receive this ?

    • Received a dispatch confirmation email from Amazon, ETA tomorrow by 8 PM. They also mentioned the following "On the day of delivery, we will email you a one-time password to provide to the driver in-person for delivery", which is new to me.

    • Ordered the 5 6600h variant. Got it last night at 9pm. Beefy.

      • Out of curiosity, what is the rated output of the power brick for the R5 6600H variant?

The Amazon listing images indicates that the R7 5825U variant is rated at 19V/3.42A (i.e. 65W), but I couldn't find any information on the R5 6600H.

        • +1

          19v @ 6.32 Amps 120w.

  • well done to those that will get these, defo a wrong price, they're $600+ everywhere else

    • Actually most of the units linked in this deal are back in stock / available for preorder around the $400 ~ $500 price range after coupon discounts.

  • Strange that the listing on the ryzen 5 6600H says pre-order for Jan 29 release.

    • I think they ran out of stock / are running low on stock, so they ticked an option or something in their backend and started taking preorders to gauge how many units they should send to the Amazon warehouses next time.
