    I reckon it's more for live data while you are cycling or specially when you have a power metre, you can see how much output you are doing. For me, it's the navigation, I've used mobile phone for navigation and when I did 70km plus, it always ended up flat prior to completing the full route.

    Battery last many times a smartwatch.
    Much larger screen, more data available to view.

    You have more data points to look at that Apple Watch can’t show. It’s also not as accurate as I’ve compared my Garmin against my bike Garmin

      yeah each to their own, I prefer to see the data in front of me while riding. Apple watch is pretty accurate, I also think it's more accurate than Garmin watch.
