Are their shoes any good? There's some sales on with Black Friday coming up, but apparently the shoes fall apart easily, etc.

Why?
Apparently they run a size large.
Ohh you nearly got me, but my sarcasm detector went off
Nearly Coutura off guard.
Bought black mesh sneakers last year. The sure arch footbed is comfy. I wear it daily. Still going strong.
Ozsale?
Have a look at their Product Review page and judge for yourself. There look to be plenty of reviews with photos.
Macpac is the same on their reviews page, but it's highly rated on here.
From a skim read, they look to be more customer service issues. Colorado looks to be protect quality.
You should go and take a look in store and judge for yourself prior to BF if you're seriously considering.
That's the thing, the item I purchased isn't available in store, so I can't try it out. Not that it would make a difference when the issue seems to be that the shoes fall apart easily.
@BargainHunterJohnnyB: Still could be worth looking at other models to get an idea of the brand and range of quality.
I've bought cheap shoes before and have regretted it. Based on what I'm seeing in the pics on product review, they look to fall into that category.
If I had to recommend a shoe it would be ECCO based on personal experience or Rockport.
@ihfree: I just wanted some brown boots that look OK to go with my jeans.

@BargainHunterJohnnyB: I would avoid based on what i'm seeing looking at boots on product review. Other sites mention the decline in quality with the latest iteration of the brand.
But ultimately, it really depends on what you're expecting from them - how they will age, lifetime, comfort, quality of materials etc.
@ihfree: Do you think that I can return the mif they mess up?
@BargainHunterJohnnyB: Hard to say - would be worth having a look through Product Review for experiences with returns.
The bigger question is "Is it worth the effort?"
@ihfree: ONe guy complained about having to print a label, stick it on and return the package - which is the standard procedure with 99% of online retailers IIRC.
Wow.. I used to love Colorado boots when I was younger (over 20 years ago!).
For some reason, I thought they shut up shop long ago!Original went bankrupt in 2011 -
Quality is good and they are comfortable. Harder to find since they had previous financial troubles.
Yep they are ok
Comfortable
Tad overpriced vs wear if you are rough on shoesfyi I bought a pair of landroamers
Many many years ago, like 20, I used to use them for work shoes in hospitality, were comfy and lasted a year. Then they changed designs and they were lasting 6 months at most before the sole was worn out. I swapped to Oliver work boot and was getting 3 years out of them for only about $20 more a pair. Still wear them to this day. Boots are comfy and much more hard wearing.
Never heard of them. Do you really need shoes right now?
I don't have any of these style of boots right now that I can wear with jeans, etc.
Only pair I ever owned was good in the upper shoe region and relativly comfortable but the sole wore out really quickly and was super slippery when it did. Very plasticky look to it in the end?
Hell no
