  • You probably could have just left the specs for the description, instead of creating that monstrosity of a title.
Edit: ah, you're on a tablet and copied it from the URL, my apologies.

was just thinking it's been a while sine we've seen some ainol action…
good to see the brainstrust there realised we needed an ainol hero!!

    • I was gonna say. So basically save $1.

And I wouldn't trust their "free shipping" either with buyincoins or ainolstore. Probably uses HK post
and takes anywhere from 3 weeks (minimum) to 5 weeks to come.

  • in reality what is the battery life like?

i have also ainol, but can't recommend my fellow ozbargainer for this when there are so many good deals on Good Brand like motorola, thoshiba and so on. Please try to buy good brand , you will get not only good product but also good customer service and warranty.

    • yes, if those branded stuff still selling at premium, i would recommend this, but with those price close to such…… go for the branded one.

even though this one is faster, go for better built or support (branded one got crap software upgrade too, except original nexus, not from manufacturer to carrier - galaxy nexus still at ICS for example).

      • is the xoom2 was the same price, get the xoom2

        if its xoom1, ask questions

xoom1 is much older hardware and much slower

    • Is your Ainol the same as this Ainol? If not, it is unfair to justify and compare the difference then! Build quality aside, this thing runs a lot faster than the branded out dated tablets (which means you pay Chinese Tablet prices).

There is one hands on review coming from Whirlpool,

      Link: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1997125

"I've been playing with this for the last couple of days.. build quality is surprisingly good (its kinda like an ipad but with a softer back), its not as fast or PPI as high as my nexus 10 but for something 1/3 the price I am pretty impressed."

  • I purchased a phone from them more than 2 months ago.
Had warranty issues, but they said they would refund $8 so I can fix it :) :)
Finally sent is back to them, still waiting for my money.
Cheaper for a reason. Just sayin'….

    • Just curious, what was the item and how much did it end up costing to send back?

      • +1

It was an Android 4.1 dual core phone - dead out of box.
Sending back.. oh yeah :) Auspost does not ship anything with batteries in it, so I had to convince the seller to send it back without batteries (and decrease the price). The shipping was about $18 and they reduced the price by $10 for batteries, so even if I get back my money, it costed me $28 + about 100 emails :)

I got one a few weeks ago. The tablet is still really amazing and fast and had no problems playing all the movies/tv shows/games I put on it. I will probably get another if it had 3G support.

Review so far: The screen isn't as bright as the iPads and other Tablets. The AUS plug that you pay $1 extra for lasted about 2 hours and then broke in half. Games are smooth and all the extras you get with the $29.99 extra bundle (Screen Protector + OTG Cable + Car Charger + USB Cable + Stylus + Leather Case + Foldable Cradle + Earphone + HDMI Cable) worked out really good. Leather Case is handy, the magnetic on the back is actually quite strong compared to others I have seen.I paid for 4-8 days shipping and got it around the 10th day. The order sits there processing for 4 days then gets shipped. I also got the 32GB card with it as well and am pretty amazed at how cheap it was. All up about $240
