@Hugh G Rection: I don't think that's what targeted means in this context. If all Citi card holders have this offer, it is a benefit. Others who don't have Citi cards don't enjoy this benefit.
If not all Citi card holders get this offer, then that's when we use the word targeted.

my mum swears by it. to be fair when they holiday they are always getting extras through this service and the deals are very good she says. id say its worth it.

You can also get these without LuxPlus+, just by booking at Luxury Escapes but the better deals are apparently via LuxPlus+.
LE is actually great but if this is worth signing up to Citi bank for, I'm not sure. Their annual fees are very high.
only posh hotel appear in the search if you search by location, but for some reason if I have a specific hotel you want to book, I can search that specific hotel and it will appear.
Some reason = they're trying to fleece you

Can be hit and miss, but the hits are great when they include packages that you won't get with other sites.
Recently booked a hotel with them. The price was pretty much what Booking.com etc were offering, but included Dinners, drinks, Spa treatments, activities etc that weren't included elsewhere.
Can someone explain what you are actually getting with this deal?
Edit: Looks like you just get up to $150 off some of their normal deals. Instead of paying $4,999 you just pay $4,849. Bargain!
Has been good with the Goldcoast promos for Sea World stays in the past - used multiple times.
seems LuxPlus+ itself is a ripoff
$249 annual fee but you save not much per booking
probably OK as complimentary but definitely not worth paying….
A quick search of LuxPlus hotels in Sydney appears that the bonus inclusions require a minimum 2 night stay.
I also wonder if this stacks with the Citi prestige 4th night on us, once becoming a Luxplus member.
from memory 4th night free is booking through expedia?
Obviously you don’t have a Citi Prestige or else you would have got an email from them.

No it’s not Expedia anymore. It’s via this company (luxury escapes) although not their lux pass offering which is different again.
Unless you holiday A LOT then this isn’t worth it

I have some travel plans so checked the prices - a normal hotel in CBD for a day on luxuryescapes.com is $25 more when compared to the hotel directly. Probably not worth, but for free, maybe. Unless you stay in luxurious hotel for 10 days

Crap - I have an active balance transfer, does this show up as a purchase (ie. and will break my free interest period) or is it just validated and no payment is charged?
I just signed up. I don’t see any pending charges on my card transactions. Before the purchase, the amount showed as $0 and I don’t see any $1 validation

They have a 10% off code for Citi members , which is being phased out in a few months time. The luxplus discount is minuscule in comparison. The whole luxplus setup is crap

Might be worthwhile to wait until you have plans to go on holiday before signing up.

It seems that 10% citi discount doesnt stack with the LuxPlus+ prices which is a shame, otherwise would be a great offer

People saying this isn't worth it aren't appreciating the 'book 4 nights get 1 free' benefit that this card already provides through Luxury Escapes. So this is just a sweetener on top.
