Mighty Spice is my favourite spice paste for a quick, easy and delicious meal and it's back at half price at Woolworths this week- $2. I really like the Chicken Curry variety. The Butter Chicken one ie great too, although it doesn't taste too much like the take away version - still really tasty though.

A warning, it has a nice kick to it, so if you're a spice wimp probably best to give this a miss.

It looks a little weird when you first add it to the frypan (like shrivelled sultanas) but it dissolves nicely as it heats up.

    probably around 500g per pack would work fine.

      Seems a bit high for an 80g pack of paste, but depends on how concentrated it is. Might pick one up today to try.

        Packet says 400g.

        I use 2 packs of the butter chicken and add just over 1kg chicken thigh fillets plus some carrot, cauliflower, broccoli and zucchini pieces.
        Tastes as good as any take away if not better.

          @jv: @jv This is exactly what I do. Two packets with 1kg of chicken thighs. I generally just do green beans though in terms of added veggies.

  Cooked this up last night, added a teaspoon of curry powder and stretched the ingredients out to 1.5kg.i thought it tasted pretty good. Hope to see it on sale again!
