With a compact and lightweight design, the Stick Vac is highly manoeuvrable for cleaning around furniture and other hard-to-reach areas. Crevice and dust brush tools can also be connected for cleaning tight spaces.

The dual roller bar floorhead uses a plush microfibre front bar and rear bristle brush rolls for large debris pickup. Connect the powered pet beater bar to effectively lift pet hair from hardwood floors and carpets. After cleaning, it’s easy to disconnect the 800ml tank for emptying. With a self-standing design, the Stick Vac is easier to put away.

Using both 18V ONE+ 4.0Ah Batteries (included), you can enjoy up to 110 minutes of runtime and they’re also compatible with more than 200 power and garden tools from the 18V ONE+ range. The 18V ONE+ Fast Charger provides fast charge times for any 18V ONE+ Battery.

These tools are ideal for tough conditions and meet the rigorous demands of bigger and more complex DIY projects and greater cleaning power. And yet they still use ONE+ 18V batteries. They also have superior ergonomics for a premium user experience.

Not bad considering also has the 2 batteries with charger

Interestingly PowerPass shows $499 as normal price, so might be a permanent reduction.

  • Reviews possibly incentivised? 80% of the reviews have come from the Ryobi website. In my quick look on the Ryobi website I couldn’t see any other items reviewed as heavily.

A lot of the ryobi fanbois are next level, if it was one of the releases that they think is a “must have” they would have been frothing at the mouth to get their hands on one.

    • Ryobi runs comps for free gift cards or batteries or whatever to get people to review items

There's a newer model coming out, already released in USA. Just be aware, these vacs are LOUD. So if you do vacuuming at night around kids or pets. Also some quality control issues with cheap plastic bits. But it's a decent price with a lot of accessories and good performance.

Personally I spent a bit more and went with another brand.

New ones already online, but no stock (in QLD) yet.

Also only 1x battery in the new kit

      • @rbimdxe - link was to the new one? title and description says 2 x 4ah batteries - although picture shows 1 :)

        • That's what happens when you reply while in the bus at 6am before you've had coffee. You trust the picture instead of actually reading it!

          You're right though, 2x batteries.

I'm eyeing it off to replace a V10 dyson which is on its second battery. Waiting for it to be in store to have a look at.

          • @rbimdxe: Do you reckon this will be a go-er? Kind of considering as I could use the batteries with the other tools when not in use (or vice versa…)

      • Whats the difference between the two models? They look very similar apart from the colour.

I have Ryobi everything, but tried this and yeah it's loud and heavy. Wanted to like it due to the ecosystem…

For a budget Vac I recommend Shark.

    • Sharks are next level good.

I wonder why you haven't seen any sales. Zero motivation other clearance reasons.

Surely this needs overturning by now.

    • I strongly agree. I also don't understand how Tool Kit Depot is allowed to exist and Bunnings can link directly to them.

Might look into this. It looks like a proper stick vacuum, unlike the useless Dreame I have. Though, it’s in pieces and getting weathered after I chucked it outside. The Dreame’s are glorified dusters, they don’t suck up much else. And the battery is abysmal.

What's the Ozbargain favourite for reasonable priced stick vacuum, not Dyson.

    • Shark IZ102 from betta $299

I have Ryobi for all my garden tools but at that price, surely there are better stick vacuums.

Bought this a year ago at a similar price, wanted to stay within the Ryobi ecosystem.

It's actually a very decent vacuum especially with the dual rollers, makes picking up larger debris a lot easier on hardwood floors. I also like the fact that it can stand on its own so I didn't have to mount it to make it stay upright.

It is top heavy though, so just something to be aware of.

  • I second the comments about it being top heavy, it is abit annoying when I test drove one. Them opting for a button instead of a trigger like the Dyson helps alot but I feel like the weight may be an issue enough for me to not pull the trigger. Although the dual roller system does have some sort of a driver to it, so it feels like its pulling you instead of you having to push which can be good and bad.

The self standing feature is almost enough to get me to buy it, as well as the battery that will last longer than a Dyson's 5 minutes

  • I have this vacuum. Coming from a Dyson this was way better, our Dyson always missed stuff along edges and spat things out the back. Better than the Dyson as I could swap batteries and keep going.
Some saying it is loud. Yes it is. If I am using it to clean the car I put my ear defenders on.
Some saying it is heavy, it’s heavier than a Dyson, but I don’t find it to be a problem. At lwast it has a battery that lets you clean the whole house.

    • Only 2 issues. The seal gasket easily fell out when emptying and someone eventually lost it. This was a known defect and Ryobi sent out a replacement improved gasket. No issue with it falling out. The other is the shorter brush attachment (not the stair/carpet) turns to allow different angles, it turns too easily and ends up the wrong way which is a bit annoying.

  • Oh… I bought this on the 10th for $599 after waiting 6 months for a deal and I just had to wait 4 more days… oh well.
