I'm already with Boost but I wish to port out and back again so I can use the 12-month SIM I have already purchased.
Can I just get a $2 Amaysim without credit for the port-out or do I have to put credit on it for it to work?

As far as I am aware all $2 sims need to be topped up prior to being able to be ported into/activated.
Lebara has a $7 sim on special at coles at the moment.
Amaysim has $10 options that'll work for porting without buying a $2 sim.

Are they flat out refusing to do number swaps now ?
I'm only a week off moving to my next Starter SIM.
This time last year online chat wouldn't do it but over the phone were happy to.From what I read, contacting support to use a starter kit as a recharge voucher is a bit hit or miss
I had chat say no but their 1800 were happy to help.
I didn't think Amaysim would let you do this without signing up a plan.
