Nope and the GU10 Warm have disappeared.
Also came here after gu10. Damn
Look at reviews. Not that great. Mostly 1 star
100% instant glow up
glow up or blow up?
Instant on. In contrast to the old CFL lights.
These 12V lamps are handy for camping and other battery powered cases.
Note they sell both 36° and 60° versions.
GU10 wanted also. Where is best for those?
For LED best I have found is IKEA - 3pk $10 but happy to be bested by someone else's suggestion
Was just looking for a deal to replace a whole lot of these. Currently have halogen, wanting to change to LED.
You'd probably be better off changing to self-contained LED downlights rather than retrofit LED bulbs.
What are the self-contained LED downlights? Do they need an individual power outlet for each downlight?
Yes, but you can just install a plug base when you remove the downlight transformer.
@coxymla: Is there a link to one of these? Would like to know how they look like. Thanks.
@audreamer: I have a bunch of these: https://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-9w-tri-colour-dimmable-led…
And they are OK, although they don't look as "nice" as the old brushed aluminium halogens.
I also have a bunch of these: https://jdlighting.com.au/cougar-lighting-predator-12w-cob-l…
They look great and no failures in 6 years, but that exact model is discontinued.
@coxymla: Great! Thank you for that.
I bought some of these and they were pretty crap. 2 of them blew within 3 months.
So much better for the environment than the halogen bulbs that last me nearly ten years…
I bought them before and returned them pretty much the next day due to flicking issues.
Consider if you’re retrofitting, in many cases , electronic transformers though marked as 12vac are not great compatibility wise with most led lamps. If you want a good mr16 with no fuss * , look up Philips masters from reduction revolution. The price is cheaper than what many wholesalers can even buy them for…
Doesn't look like the GU10 4 packs are on sale?
