Sat in one of these at $500 and thought they were overpriced, what a surprise seeing them at $800.

      Definitely overpriced.

The 40k ultramarine one looks pimp af, great conversation starter. Unfortunately not on my salary 😂🥲

‘So… warhammer themed gaming chair hey? It’s nice to see 43yo IT guys saving themselves for marriage’.

damn no sale on their new all white nanogen chair. their new chair and recliner add on make it a pretty viable napping chair.

    • I just brought the new white Magnus pro desk. 5 minutes after I installed it, I realised why they took so long to release a white desk. It show the marks quite easily. I can't imagine what it will look like in a few years. So I'd think twice about getting a white chair.

      • not good to hear. so close to pulling the trigger on a white desk.

        • A white desks with a few marks still looks a lot better than a hulking black desk in the space I have it.

Meh, around the usual price, they always have a "sale" going, and always around these prices.

  • TTRacing have similar nerdy "gamer" chairs for a more digestible price point.

Can't tell the difference between my TTRacing and my friends Secret Lab chair

FWIW had a horrible experience with TTRacing.

      I'll try keep it tl;dr….

Bought a chair, delayed 2 weeks, delayed another 2 weeks, delayed a month as never gonna be home after the first 2 weeks for delivery, wouldn't refund me kept stringing me along so they could ship something so they didn't have to refund me. Tried to gaslight me saying that it was delivered when it was clearly in their warehouse underneath a sign saying "Returned goods", wanted to charge me a re-shipping fee after they stuffed up the delivery in the first place. Had to do a charge back through my bank.

Ended up buying a Kaiser 3 XL from BigW

      • I’m going through a similar process with TTRacing at the moment!

Purchased a Duo Pro for myself and an Airflex for the wife 3 weeks ago. Both were rubbish to put together with bolt holes not lining up.

Duo headrest is loose, arm and seat foam has deformed and doesn’t regain shape (I’m about 85kg), tilt mechanism has started creaking, something is loose in the backrest and the glue for the arm foam is coming away. They’ve given me the run around for 2 weeks now asking me to send information on different platforms, losing conversation history, repeatedly asking for the order number after being provided it many times. Has been a shocker.

On the up side the wife is reasonably happy with the Airflex…

        Avoid.

      • Ah damn, guess I got very lucky then.

I got the Swift X Pro Deadpool edition, i messaged them prior and they did say there would be a delay of about 2 weeks which was accurate.

Chair arrived and was easy to set up, and insanely comfortable.

Sucks that there isn't a showroom to try them out beforehand

Only found one chair that was more than $100 discount and none showing the $150 advertised.

Have had three secret labs. EVO, titan and titan XL. All lasted 1-2 years max. Foam is cheap and shit. arms wear out fast. So not worth the money they charge. Total rip off. Never again.

And their support is a joke. First took months and threats. Second required ACCC involvement who even after they stated should be refunded or replaced SecretLab refused. Ended up having to charge back on CC with ACCC ruling to get my money back.

    Buy ANY other chair.

    • I've had the same secret lab chair since COVID and only some of the stitching was coming apart on the seat and they replaced it even though it was 1 year out of warranty and was relatively quick and zero hassle. The chair looks brand new still. I worked from home for the first 3 years of its life and use to be on it for many hours gaming.

      Just another perspective I guess

For that price you could get a 2nd hand Herman Miller, or two actually decent office chairs.

Do your future self a favour and don't get racing chairs. Your spine will thank you.

Also pleather and thick cheap foam are not suitable for most Australian households.

      Mesh is king.

I absolutely regret my heavy foam chair for 90% of the weather it's used in.

      • My first furniture purchases was a pleather office chair when I was 17. It cracked and fell apart within 3 years. Mesh is king!

  • i love their line up, have the chair and the desks - had them for years - still in amazing condition

  • Have had a Titan for over 4yrs and although it still works fine, the pleather on the arm rests started falling apart within the first 2yrs. Would recommend their Softweave over the standard option to avoid that, especially with summer coming up.

I paid under $600 for mine in 2020 though, not sure what they changed to increase the price by $150+.

  • I'm just gonna put in my two cents as someone who has spent a tonne of time in a "gaming" chair.

I love them, I think they are super comfortable as a bigger person and wouldn't get any other chair, I don't care what other people say. I've had my DXRacer Tank chair for 8 years now, and it still holds up and I can sit in it for 12+ hours easily without getting sore. It's only just starting to shed the pleather crap on the seat, only now. (I broke one of the arms but that was my fault, not the chairs fault being cheap shit or anything).

The only thing I will say is to get fabric or mesh if you can. Leather/pleather sucks, it's sticky in summer and cold in winter. I have an Oodie over my backrest and it's great.

As a bigger person it's great for me. This is my opinion. I just bought a Kaiser 3 XL for my sisters house when I visit there and my mum says it's even better than my DXRacer so I'm looking forward to it.

    • Cant be used during sale or promo

  • Such overrated chairs, they are hard as shit

but i cant fault the quality on them
