My understanding is if it’s the standard price for everyone, that’s fine. That’s a discount for everyone. It’s only if you add a coupon or voucher where there’s an issue. That’s generally worked fine with me but not quite 100% in case something goes wrong.
Why don’t you check with shopback directly?

Doesn't seem great. Also lots of people complaining about auto-renew being hard to cancel.
I used Nord and PIA in the past, have not had captcha or renewal issues with them.
If you truly care about privacy though I probably wouldn't go with any of these options.

Nord and PIA have been good for me as a basic privacy layer without any usage issues but I don't expect that anything I use on there will be secure from government/police.
