I have one, seems to work quite well. My breathing is much better despite hayfever season.
It is quiet at low fan speeds. Unit was bigger than I first expected and is just big and heavy enough that moving between rooms isn't easy - but it works for my whole house.
Was hoping for better Google home integration, only reporting on off and fan speed.
I haven't exported home assistant options yet.did you look at any alternatives.
From my research this is pretty much one of the best there is for a large areaDaikin make some good ones, occasional sales on their eBay store
I have one, bought last sale to replace my Xiaomi 3H. The biggest difference is this is able to detect the harmful gasses in the air but it can only break down HCHO which it does pretty well. Unfortunately there's a drug lab in my neighborhood (yes I've reported it…) and it's not able to help with those chemicals labeled as VOCs which it shows at dangerous levels.
Before on my old purifier it just detected as a number so I wasn't 100% sure, I thought maybe it was non-stop cigarette smoke or using polished wood in wood heaters or something but it's not detecting any PM2.5 or PM10 so it couldn't be anything but a drug lab…As for dust/mold it filters them extremely quickly (I had to start sleeping in the lounge room where it detects quite a bit of PM2.5 and PM10 but is further away and closed off that it doesn't detect as much VOC).
It's also MUCH, MUCH quieter, at least 2.5x as much air throughput at the same noise level as the 3H.
The 2 things I don't like is the OSD and the remote, it can only show 1 stat at a time, can't be changed without the remote and takes a while to show the stats after cycling through. As for the remote, it sticks magnetically to the unit but it's hard to find where to place it and the magnetic pull is so low it frequently drops to the floor (though I guess that's not an issue if you store it somewhere else). I loved how the 3H would show AQ, room temp and humidity on the same screen, now it's not even worth cycling through the OSD to check.
EDIT: It did slightly reduce the level of VOCs vs the 3H but not in any meaningful matter and afaik there hasn't been any reviews that even covered the removal of VOCs.
I have been using one downstairs (open plan living lounge / dinning / kitchen areas / big sliding doors for backyard - big open space 75sqm) and this thing is phenomenal.

Thank you,
I guess based on this, the BP04 is the one to get rather than the BP03 listed…and it was also on sale not too long ago
The HEPA H13-grade filter lasts up to 11 years. Remove and replace in one click.
That's impressive. I wonder how long in real-life I will need to replace one, since it says "up to". How much is the filter, anyone knows?
but will the air purifier last 11 years?
If you don't have to replace a filter for 11 years it sounds worth the cost. Seems like I have to replace the 3H filter pretty often.
When I bought the 3H they said filters last 6months - 1year but for me they only lasted 3 months. Now even the Amazon page for the filters list 3-6 months.
There's two parts to the filter, the HEPA part and the activated carbon part.
The activated carbon part has a limited lifespan. Eventually, it absorbs all the harmful gasses and then farts and cigarette smells and such will pass right through
The HEPA part is a filter, which will last for years and basically only becomes a problem when its so clogged that airflow is reduced. Thats true for this and its true for the 3H. You can keep using it past the point it goes 0% on the display.
The website shows 5 years.
I can't believe I bought two of them in March this year for $1599 each.

This or pay slightly more for the hot and cool version (smaller, but I don't have a huge house)?
https://www.dyson.com.au/dyson-purifier-hot-cool-formaldehyd…I fart next to it and the air quality line moves.. I guess it is working well.
And great entertainment for the kids.. ;)
But all seriousness, I think the air filter works but I can't prove it.

They are charging $20 for delivery and mentioning that delivery may be delayed depending on stock availability from the supplier. There is no 45-day money-back guarantee; this guarantee is only available for purchases made directly from Dyson. I ordered my product this morning from Dyson, and the shipping information has already been processed and received.
I ordered some other items from Dyson during a big sale period and their delivery, like Bose and a few other vendors, was impressive next morning.
Local Bing Lee has these in stock for those who can't wait.
How much are the filters and how often it needs to be changed?
https://www.dyson.com.au/support/replacement-parts/air-treat…
HEPA - $249
Carbon - $149We recommend replacing the 360° HEPA H13-grade filter after using it for up to 11 years or sooner. The Activated carbon filter should be replaced every two years, or sooner if required. The Selective Catalytic Oxidisation (SCO) filter is permanent and never needs replacing.
Basically only need to replace the Carbon filter, don't know if you can buy it cheaper elsewhere.
Anyone has this can share some feedback? Does it worth the monry you pay?
