Mophie 45W GaN Dual Port USB-C $30.26, 67W GaN Dual Port USB-C Power Adapter $40.94 Delivered @ Wireless1

140
DOUBLE11

part of 11/11 sales.

both Dual USB-C port and both GaN. max output only when 1 cable plugged in the correct port (labeled).
similar value to recent IKEA charger deal (still going?) which was 45W @ $25 + shipping ($5 to $7 ime for small items). no mention of GaN though even though the design is very similar.

similar to previous Mophiedeals I posted except this time shipping is free with code DOUBLE11 so it makes it an all time low.

I have been using the 45W version to charge a budget iPad everyday and occasional eufy camera and it has been working great for years.

    NOVOO 67W 2-Port GaN Charger with 1M 100W Type-C to Type-C Cable $26.99 with 25% off coupon.
    NOVOO 67W 3-Port Charger with 2 PD 100W Type-C Cables $31.59.

    • wow with 100W cable included? 😮

cable costs almost that much on it’s own doesn’t it? (actually I was thinking of 240W cable, but you get TWO 100W with 67W model)

Ive had both novoo and mophie. Mophie is better quality imo doesnt heat up as much, feels safer to charge. Ive had their 120w mophie gan charger lasted me 2+ years still running good. I have the 67w novoo and included cabled are trash, can hardly bend lol, heats up alot when charging my macbook & phone alot. If you want more quality id go Mophie or anker will last you years.

    • The 3-port charger may be a better deal

      Novoo RG67AU (two output model). Outputs 67W (20V, 3.35A) for 30 minutes then renegotiates to 45W (20V, 2.25A). Reaches 45ºC.

NCAU67D-257H (three output model). Outputs 67W for 2+ hours. (And I logged this). Reaches ~43ºC.

that's not good. pretty sure for safety a proper charger is meant to put out the max without overheating or possibly melting.

if Novoo RG67AU has a timer for 30 mins then 67W max goes down to 45W, that tells me without that timer in it the charger would overheat and possibly can melt. so it's not really a proper 67W charger.

whichever charger I get, I would get a charger one step up from max just to be safer (I charge my Kings Lifepo4 powerpack at 45W with a 65W max charger, so charger gets warm but never hot). but in a situation where I forgot to unplug it or something and left it, a proper 45W max charger should not overheat or melt.

        • Yup, cheaper means they cut costs somewhere. Also There’s a reason Apple sells Mophie in the Apple Store, and list them as suitable chargers for MacBooks and iPhones, because they are designed well. I travelled to all around Europe for past year and half exclusively with the 120w Mophie gan, had zero issues. Better to pay extra to not burn your house down or melt your power socket. Mophie Or Anker quality any day. I purchased the 67w Mophie, so now I have the 120w & this 67w.

Also There’s a reason Apple sells Mophie in the Apple Store,

yeah that's why I got my 45W Mophie. because mainly I was going to be charging a ipad everyday with it. I leave the included apple cable plugged in and it charges just as fast as the included charger which I leave plugged in another room.

Better to pay extra to not burn your house down or melt your power socket.

seems to be with the cheapest ones melting is if you are lucky, if the plastic is thin and cheap it can catch fire too. Heymix meme.

  • Fits nicely in the back of a steam deck case.

  • which one is recommended to charge a laptop??
