Not the best deal but a deal, combine with 15% Topcashback offer brings it down to $152.15 or there about.
That's about $12 per month for 20GB on Vodafone network with 5G

Referrer & referee receive $25-$50 credit after referee's 3rd monthly bill.
What do you mean?
Lots of perfectly working Xiaomi's were recently blocked by Optus & Telstra with the 3G shutdown but not Vodafone.
Asked in-store about the Vodafone sims and was told they were taken off Costco shelves a few months ago - so no more of those sweet $99 Black Friday deals sadly!
why?
Sold them too cheaply.
oh no inflation excuse again
@seug123: I'd even take recent Woolworst deals of $150 with 2k free EDR points. 20% inflation greed tax hurts.
I seen the sims in Costco Crossroads today?
Proof?
Be aware if you need call forwarding, Vodafone doesn't support this function on their prepaid service
Just beware if you want to roam and get SMS overseas it doesn't work with this 12 month sim. You have to purchase roaming pack which is expensive, all other telcos I have been with allow free roaming to accept SMS but not this one.
Really, who? All the telcos I looked at before our trip, charged at least a daily fee for that option
I think Boost has this feature. It was mentioned in some past deals
Yeah I saw that one, just wondering what others as the poster mentions ALL
Telstra and Optus postpaid plans allowed receiving sms for free while overseas. Just make sure the daily fee options is turned off and just pay for what you use if its just sending a few sms.
Coles prepaid 365 plan also does but if you want to send sms, make/receive calls you need to buy an international roaking pack for $25. Coles dont even have a daily fee option. I thought most other prepaid plans have roaming extras packs instead of daily fees.
Has that changed with Telstra over the past month? When i went in and asked about that, i was advised that i had to pay for a day pass to receive texts. I didnt ask Optus as i would not move to them either way
@BatmanAU: Probably trying to sell you something you didn't need
Telstra prepaid worked when I travelled 2 months ago.
Bloody Sales reps, can never get good help.
This info looks inaccurate. I tried to turn on my International Roaming option for my 365-day expiry plan in the Voda app. It did turn on and warned the prepaid "Pay As You Go Roaming rates" would apply. The page about it indicates $0.75 to send an SMS and free to receive. Here's the page: https://www.vodafone.com.au/support/prepaid/roaming-rates
Not sure where you got that from but it's not true, you can definitely receive sms free on this Voda sim overseas.
I just got back from Japan and could receive SMS fine without roaming switched on with Vodafone prepaid. No issues at all.
It also states on their website this works without charge (for receiving SMS) under the prepaid tab.
Boost, felix, optus all allow SMS to be received free while roaming but to send SMS its 50 cents .
Can you use this to recharge existing?
no, you need to exit and enter again
What a pain…
It's pretty easy actually, only takes 10 to 15 minutes. If you want to stay on Vodafone just port to this for 30 days then back.
@tightarse can you confirm if this is accurate?
The conditions as per https://www.topcashback.com.au/vodafone/ state:
"Cashback is based on the percentage of one month's payment of the service cost of Postpaid & SIM Only Plans, as well as Phones on Plans"
Therefore, is the cashback calculated on the $179 (as it is a single payment) or 1/12 of that amount?
I think that for Postpaid only.
Vodafone - saving old Xiaomi's from becoming paperweights in Oz.
