Good for new customers as they'll get the new user welcome bonus. AliExpress coupons won't work until this first order is made.

    • They've managed to not track my first purchase with Temu when they had a 50% deal… so I've got to go through those shenanigans.

      • +1

Irrelevant to my comment, as AliExpress is owned by Alibaba and they don't own Temu. A new AliExpress account has no links to Temu.

Your issue related to Temu's in-house affiliate network being dogshit and failing to track. Either because it's crap, a coupon auto applied or they think you didn't meet the criteria even if you did.

  • +5

Everything in my cart has been jacked

    • So its not only eBay but Aliexpress is the same now!?

    • Might be back to full price so they can reduce it for 11.11 event in an hour 15 mins. What about the "upcoming price"?

      • +1

Yep it’s showing the upcoming prices which are still higher than what they were before. So scammy.

  • +1

I'm guessing this will not stack with coupon codes?

    • +1

yea, im not sure if i should use a code or not to double up on discounts.

  • are the prices different if you come from SB vs the App?

  • Genuine question.. what do people buy from ali express usually??

    • +1

Electronics mostly, stuff like tablets, cheap game consoles( the rg3xxx ones) and computer parts.

I'm planning on buying a 12900HX for 250 - 23% discount later today, should be a nice upgrade from my i5 12400 which I've had for 3 years.

      • CPU from AliExpress? Recommend any reputable stores?

    • +2

I buy crafting and art supplies. A shitload cheaper than buying from Spotlight! ;) My hubby often buys smaller hardware items.

    • WLED

      • recommendations?

    • i bought a viofo A229 plus dash camera as this was the cheapest compared to anything in store or online (like amazon etc)

it took less than 2 weeks delivery which was surprising and it was a genuine part.

however i know there are knock offs like lego bricks but if they are all made in china and the difference is the lego box, i'd rather pay a cheaper price and as long as it has all the lego's with a manual, the end result will be the same then all good lol

  • Tracking came in correctly in ~20 minutes.

As pointed out in the 100% bonus cashback deal I bought 2 items in 1 transaction and also got 2 sets of bonuses, $10 and ~$7. Very curious if they fix this.

  • can't think of what i need 😓

  • Anyone have any idea how the new ShopBack for AliExpress works? So do I have to buy items 1 by 1 now or after clicking through the item at Shopback, I can add it to my AliExpress cart and go back to ShopBack for other items then checkout from the last item that redirects me back to AliExpress? Would that work? Btw, this is through the mobile app (iOS specifically).

Or is it just better to use ShopBack through my laptop with the ShopBack extension?

    • Based on bitter experience I suggest you click through Shopback to Ali and buy an item .. don't muck about .. if you want other items start the process over again at Shopback ..

      • +1

So do you just order items 1 by 1 now on the app? Kinda hard especially if you're buying less than minimum spend. I guess I will just shop using my laptop with the Shopback extension. Seems to be much easier.

        • I also noticed this new system, which seemed very confusing.
I want to buy two different items so not sure how you go about doing it in that case.
I wanted to use the app to use coins for additional discount.

    • I ordered this morning from the 100% Cashback.

Click through to aliexpress from ShopBack, add all the items you want to buy to cart (needs to be affiliated for cashback), and check out.

I preplan what I want to buy by having the links in notepad with their prices.

      • Yes thats the term I was trying to remember 'affiliated'
That should be in the OP description really, it's important

        • +1

It is in the last line

Kindly see here for eligible Affiliated Products: AliExpress Portals(portals.aliexpress.com)

      • Was this on mobile app or were you using web version via a pc, laptop etc?

        • I opt in for the 100% cashback on the shopback app. The steps I posted are on laptop afterwards.

    • Just launch the AliExpress app from the shopback app, all you have to do and stay in AliExpress app I would have thought?

All a pain with those 'buy 3' bundle items popping up all the time.

Hardly worth using cashback when the items change to a higher price, can't find with searching item numbers. Much easier if you can have the items saved in basket from before.

  • -2

Hey guys, I’ve never bought from Aliexpress before.

I was wondering from where we can tell whether we are buying from China / reseller or not?

    • +1

It's almost exclusively coming from China. None of the stores pretending to be 'official' are actually official (e.g. Xiaomi 'Official' store'.

All that said, treat it like eBay but with slow shipping. Sellers with lots of sales and good reviews are very reliable

  • Has AliExpress patched the use of promo codes (like the one posted by Clear) in combo with cashbacks?

  • @tightarse will TCB match this?

  • Any good retro handheld deals?

  • +5

Purchases from China not eligible? So majority of items not eligible? 🤣

    • +4

Think they mean purchases made from within China

  • Has the sale even started yet? All I see is that it will start in 11 hours.

    • +1

Sale starts 5pm AEST, Monday 11/11/2024

  • How do people do this without having already picked items since the cart has to be empty? Takes a while to find the best price on the specific things youre after like my cart is full of the things i want to buy already

    • I add everything I want to a specific wish list ahead of time and use that to find what I want to buy

    • Save the item numbers of what you want first.

Then, when ready to buy, log in via your cashback site, and enter item number, to add one by one into the cart.

      • +1

I had issues entering just the item number in aliexpress search so ended up copy pasting the clean link (remove everything after html)

      • +1

        where are the item #'s?
im doing it on my computer, are you doing it on your phone?

        • +2

Aliexpress link looks something like this

          https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006679570577.html

          the item number is 1005006679570577

I used to be able to just search for the number to get to the product page but it didn't work this morning during the 100% cashback so I just copied and pasted the full link into the browser. Having said that I just tested it now and it seems to work again.

Keep a look out for items that says "upcoming price" at the top in red. The item will be cheaper at 7pm when the 11.11 sale starts.

          • @CodeXD: ahhhhh, gotcha. i thought it would be like ebay where it was somewhere on the page where my blind ass can't see. lol

            many thanks

          • +1

@CodeXD: So it's not just me!

It's stopped working for me again as of today.

          • @CodeXD: all annoying.. entering item numbers doesn't work, those pesky bundle deals pop up, no vouchers so hopefully the 15% tracks.

      • Sometimes works, sometimes doesnt, its infuriating when it doesnt. Its also sometimes not possible to find the item in the search, but it shows if you bookmark it.. not sure if these are glitches or deliberately trying to stop affliate things working.

  • These items are not eligible for Cashback:

Aliexpress Pocket Top up, Face Masks and Medical Consumables
Virtual products (gift cards, coupons or any form of stored value)
Purchases from China, Resellers and Fraudulent activities

im confused with the 3rd line, isn't it all from China? so no cash back?

    • +1

They mean purchases made from people (buyers) who are in China

      • Ah thanks for clearing that up

  • Did this start or not yet? Is it going to start at 5 AEST with 11.11 sale?

I have checked my shopback and Ali still at 5% cashback

    Thanks

  • Just a heads up- I used to get a tracking number from Australia Post when it reached the UCL warehouse. Last time it was sent using iMile for the final leg, and the tracking emails went to my spam folder. iMile had the wrong suburb, but correct postcode and marked it as “delivery failed, incorrect address.”
AliExpress couldn’t track it and said I was at fault.

Moral of the story- check your spam folder.

    • Yeah they are using aramex as well. Might be wrong but I think Aramex only delivers to my place on Fridays. So if it reaches the regional warehouse in Friday, I need to wait a week to receive the item.

Aus post used to be soo good.

Does this cashback stack with the singles day coupon codes?

  • Anybody have experience with Aliexpress/Temu office chairs and/or desks?

I really need an upgrade from an old dining chair and a Fantastic Furniture "gaming desk"….

  • Anybody know of any good mini pcs to take advantage of this deal?

  • +1

So does it mean we can't use it with AliExpress discount codes and/or store specific discount codes?

    • use the discount codes to at least get the upfront discount and then see if shopback tracks or not.

i dont know how they would know if you used a discount code because dont they just see how much you've spent after?

  • how do you know if the item is affiliated?

    • from description

      • you legend

        can't believe I missed it

  • Difference email address between shopback and aliexpress (new a/c) doesn't matter, right?

    • would like to know the same. In ohter cashbacks the email address must be the same between both, so wondering if we could create a new account to benefit form the 25% cashback

    • Email address can be different.

  • i'm guessing using one of the codes that aliexpress has starting soon will void the cashback?

  • Aren't all purchases from China?

  • Any product suggestions yall

  • mine still not tracked.

used the shopback app for it all with mobile data and no adblocker/vpn/proxy etc. on

    • Tracked yet? My purchase 3.5 hours ago haven't tracked yet. It recognized the clicks.

      • +1

        No still not

pm'd the rep hopefully he fixes it up eventually

if they dont I'll be returning the item for refund from aliexpress

        • My order of 2 items haven't tracked. An hour ago second item got confirmed. Reckon by tomorrow or gets tracked. My items good price anyways so don't think i return them. Got a laser and honeycomb bed for it. Usually laser is more. 80w with air assist pump. Still not the point though. If not tracking probably don't use sb in the future as much. .

          • @Mikael: still nothing done by shopback man.

i am retuning items now. sick of stupid cashback provider's dodgy games and false or half positive hopes

cashrewards tracked my order instantly almost though

  • +1

Didn't track. My previous order of $20 did. Never works with anything substantial. I'm tired of this BS. Used the shopback extension which was green.

  • +2

So does that mean the singles day coupons wont be elligible?

  • +2

Shopback reps can you confirm whether 11.11 coupons will stack please?

  • Does paying in USD affect cash back?

    • +2

I don't think so, infact its better to pay in USD. Aliexpress AUD conversion is horrendous. Not sure the actual percentage but just worked out something was $30 more expensive if I paid in AUD.

      • +1

Yeah, agree. Been paying in USD for a while too.
Not sure how much "cheaper" but was around 10-20%.

        • my last order I saved $17 by not paying in AUD. It used to be quite similar of a rate.

  • Buy now or wait for black friday? Are the deals usually better?

  • Hilarious! My item auto price jacked as 7pm rolled around.

  • +1

This is great my item didn't increase in price but the shipping doubled!!!!

  • Im not finding any price increases, decreases, but theyre all suddenly not being affiliates, when they were in the last sale.

  • +1

As with the other half dozen comments, would love to know if this pairs with the coupons otherwise it's useless

    • +1

They do with Cashrewards. See the other post

  • See how this go. through shopback to ali. Put items in cart $169 USD. Paid using PayPal. Declined as was missing $2 on my revolut (not sure why not able to pay with PayPal money in account. Perhaps because Australian??). Held money for a while. Then reversed back. Item held as payable for 24hours. Went in again and paid item. Not sure if will track. Shop back click history show ali. Not the end of the world but would be good with the $35-40.

  • +1

It's ridiculous that Shopback doesn't make it clear whether cashback will stack with coupon codes or not.

  • Seem price with Aliexpress with shopback redirect or not from shopback redirect are not the same (both incognito tab without login), redirected from shopback price was higher.

    • Even I opened a second tab and pasted the link with cheaper price, shopback still tracked.

  • It appears the cashback does stack with the coupon codes (I used the $40 off $269 one, it just applied automatically at cart). Cashback tracked very quickly after the purchase for 3 out of 4 items, the remaining item by far the highest value (yes it is affiliated). See if it will track later…

    • Still waiting to see if mine tracks. 3.5 hours ago. $250AUD. It shows ali in click history.

      • Ali typically tracks the next day in my experience, so actually quite surprised it tracked that quickly this time.

        • +1

Hope the last one tracks tomorrow for you. See how it goes tomorrow.

          • @Mikael: Still nothing..was thinking of using SB to get some lego from everyday market. Wait to see if it tracks..

            • +1

@Mikael: If it doesn't track after a week you can contact Shopback support through the click history/report missing cashback feature - they usually take quite a bit of time to get back but tend to sort it out eventually.

              • @VinceNT90: Will do, got another day or so left before I can report it. Did yours end up tracking?

  • Mine tracked straight away but didn't get any vouchers, didn't seem that good but only spend US$35. Cheap enough anyway.

  • +1

Spent ~$750 AUD to get $5 cash back, what a joke!!
