      Just had really bad stuttering and frame drops, which was so disappointing as I loved the original

      The game has shader compilation stutters on all pc hardware , you just didn’t notice it. Jealous tbh , wish I didn’t notice it either. Makes it unplayable for me

  7900xtx and 7800x3D and this was a stuttery mess. Refunded it.

    I have exactly the same hardware, (just bought it then read the comment s lol) was a bit like that I turned of AMD AA. Seems alright after a hour of play. I do have 64GB though, mabye thats it?

    Not smooth as butter though, but fine imo.

  Micro Stutter ruins this remake unfortunately for PC, get it on console.

  Pretty amazing game hampered by some performance issues. Still well worth playing!
  I heard they dissolved the team a month after release so likely no performance patches coming ever.
