Very thorough post. Take an upvote for what would be the cheapest pokemon cards I’ve ever purchased, if I ever purchased pokemon cards…

      Thank you!

Although if you were just after the cards, they're still pretty expensive in my opinion. The prices are only good compared to RRP or if you want the other contents that come with each product.

  • Thanks OP, but for me, loose packs at $5 each at Tarjay is a bit more palatable if you are going for pulls vs the additional bits and pieces. That Charizard box at $10/pack is exxy.

Managed to get the 2023 one for $46 a few months back and stashed it for Xmas. Not surprising seeing prices gravitate up ahead of the festive season though.

I completely agree with you in regards to the loose packs. If you value the Charizard statue at $50 and the 3 included promos at $10 together, it does bring the price per pack down to $4.24.

Good purchase! If anyone else is reading, in regards to the Holiday 2023 calendar, although they're scarce, you can still find some at K-mart for $39 in-store only,

  • Cheap is when each booster is $4 or less

    • +2

While I agree with you, some people might be interested in the additional contents of these products. I think the Charizard statue is pretty cool!

      • Ah true, op should attribute some value to it. I just looked at the booster value

        • I thought about that, but as this is my first time posting a deal, I didn't want to have information overload (although I think I did a little, haha). I decided to end up just putting the price per pack as I know some people only look for that.

I don't know, please let me know if you think I should change it or remove the price per pack altogether!

  • Try add what boosters are in each pack, just for clarity and ease

Damn when you show the booster pack price for the holiday box, looks so bad…. But the kids love it

    • It would be nice if the 3 card Fun Packs were 10 card boosters! Definitely a great purchase regardless for children in December!

    • +2

I suspect a lot of adults love it too. Must be nice to continue a collecting hobby from childhood to adulthood, tbh.

I enjoy playing TCG with my kids. Used to play MTG in primary school so this is a modern take on collector card games. I don't care about collecting rare cards, happy to get good cards to use in a game. Some awesome commons can make great decks

Has anyone tried to buy 2 and return one?

  • How much will these be worth in 10 years?

    • +1

It’d appreciate in value during the next pandemic

  • +1

As a heads up, you can mix and match too, don't have to buy two of one item

Thanks OP, got the holiday calendar as I wanted that for Christmas, and a collectors chest to open now, both for 100 is a steal.

      • I don't know how to set up notifications directly for Pokémon TCG, however, you can subscribe here for deals in relation to card games.
