Have been looking for the 6P lighted instant up Coleman for awhile and this price seems pretty good.

Price on website shows as $549 but once you add it to your cart and go to checkout there is a discount applied called PROMO CODE: Save $30 when you spend $300 (-$30.00) which then brings it down to $519, plus if you do cash rewards you get an additional 2.6% cash back.

    Good deal for Gary.

  • Any deals on a slightly larger tent (2 adults + 2 kids)?

    • 4P is smaller than 6P

      • Are kids even people tho?

Definitely look at 8p or 10p tents for a family of 4. I have the 6p and it’s perfect for 3.

@aneil915: Yup, I'm looking at those sizes for those exact reasons. I'm basically halving the advertised people rating. :P

    • We got this. 10p instant tent. Camped twice. Easy setup and not a bad price. $549 if member

      • Takes around 10-15 minutes fully up with pegs. Same to take down. Got built in LED. Also gets dark. Kids slept perfect. Older kids ended up on there too so 7 people. Good is they have separate entrance if wanted.
This would be perfect for 4 people and use centre as "common area"

It is bit bulky though and take a bit of room on car. But def worth it.

        • Seems to be sold out everywhere at this price.

          • @Optimist Prime: Got it for $599 probably 2 months ago. Didn't check stock. Probably new model coming out.

Edit: Stock here in WA. 3 closest shops from me had stock.

Personally I'd spend the extra $20 to get the newer OZtrail Lumos 6P which has gusseted windows and vent for aircon/heater. Also packs smaller.

    • As someone who's taken the Coleman on 20+ trips in the last 2 or 3 years, I agree. Just the fact that the OZtrail packs smaller makes it worth it.

    • Now I like gussets every bit as much as the next man, but how do the OzTrails hold up compared to the quality of the Coleman?

we picked up the 12p oztrail lumos for like $950 or something a little while back. might be worth holding off until it comes on sale.
can confirm its a very nice and well thought out tent.

  • It's a good tent for me the missus and two dogs. Good dark room, great sized vestibule and it's instant up and down. Not sure how long the setup is for the Lumos.

  • How about this one ? Seems reasonable to me and has good reviews and dark room as well
