FYI i ordered one of the 50" for my mum as a bedroom TV and it took 4 weeks to deliver from Sydney to Sydney……
Purchased a tv from them couple months back. Died within a week. Refund took nearly two months after it being returned.

I had different experience. I have 10 year old 48inch soniq tv which has managed to outlast my Samsung tv. TV quality of Samsung was much better than the soniq one but I won’t mind buying another one for spare room in future.
You can get a near-new 32" Sony Bravia or equivalent on FB Marketspace/Gumtree for less than $50.

Why not just keep the Sony and add a Chromecast or similar if it has HDMI input?

Buy a second hand dumb TV and keep your Chromecast. I don't know about this specific model, but cheap smart TVs are usually slow and/or buggy.
@bio: Bit the bullet and got the 98" TCL on sale. That will replace my 58" plasma and that one can go in the bedroom if it will fit
