    That is a pathetic battery.

As with most Monster products, they're overpriced for what they offer. 7.5Ah battery pack is very weak at this price point. The rest of the specs will be equally basic.

does it come with one of their HDMI cables??

    • +1

      That would explain the price

      • Surely they can’t afford that, easy $500 alone

All round specs look crap.. check other shops

Little bit more but way better specs:

    • Not sure I'm keen on rim brakes when the motor is in the rear hub

  • I sold my old car for $1000 a month ago :(

Some people buy vacuum cleaners for more than $1000. It's all relative.

  • The wide handlebars will be perfect for pushing this when the 7.5Ah battery dies

Most people would quickly adapt, and use the pedals.

Sorry, this is a forum for posting bargains, not for asking if something is a bargain.
Especially when the answer is a resounding NO.

It would have made a good question in the forums.

would have made a good question in the forums

It would appear the moderators did not agree…

    • Can you explain why this is not a bargain? Genuinely want to know as I don’t know much about e-bikes

      • A basic price for a basic bike. My problem is that OP posted it not even thinking it was good value, just wanting to know.

Small battery, hub motor, heavy, freewheel - i think. No proper specs given.
Not a terrible bike, but not up to off-road, and gearing too low for on-road.

  • I wouldn’t touch a mountain ebike without a bosch drivetrain, makes for shit situatuons on dirt going up hills when the power drops-in a few seconds after you really need it

I returned the cheap one I got and upgraded to a cube.

  • Mechanical discs are entry level.

    I don't like hub drive.

My e-bike has an 11ah battery and gets me about 100km on the middle assistance setting but it's a $3.5k bike.

For the money it isn't a terrible but it isn't a bargain

  • Will this go under electronics or does it have lifetime return policy

  • Had one of these. Didn't like it.

    • Paid $1499 and returned it (after swapping it once cause it broke)
