Check your emails if you're a former Foxtel Now customer. I just had an email from them to claim a free Hubbl device (RRP $99) with free shipping. This is obviously targeted and I have no idea if it's just select previous customers or all of them. You will need to create a Hubbl account (or sign in if you already have one) to claim, although you don't need to have any active subscriptions on there.

Imagine being the group who thought Hubbl device would be a good idea 🥺
The same clowns who thought Hamish & Any were still relevant. A device created by dinosaurs and promoted by dinosaurs who weren’t funny 20s year ago, let alone now when their man child humour is just sad.
Got some pretty awful reviews here:

You could try using this piece of crap as a club to bash whoever is wasting household money on Foxtel, but I'm sure it's also very flimsy.Used to play my media through Telstra TV. Telstra has now nerfed my device (not sure how they get away with that, seems not dissimilar to phone manufacturers pushing downgrade patches), and I did purchase a new remote for it which is now not fit for purpose.
I have plenty of chromecasts and a couple of firesticks but they don't seem good for plugging USBs and my TV doesn't play USB.What's the current OzB recommendation.
I replaced mine, am using a Chromecast/Android-4k-TV device. It does the job but doesn't have USb. Google Streamer apparently replaces the Android-4k-TV device but doesn't have all the Apps, such as Foxtel. My neighbour replaced Telstra TV with an Nvidia Shield Pro, which does have USB and Foxtel App and despite being 2019 is still quite current and works well. Just a lot pricier, but does do Audio passthrough which is relevant for those with a HT receiver. Others have opted for an Apple TV device.
Cheers. Wish I'd known the scumbags were gonna nerf it so I coulda taken it offline.
There was a number of apps that stopped working on the Telstra TV pretty much straight away after the deadline (even though my device hadn't updated) - the NBA app was one of them.
I ran the software update shortly afterwards and that completely disabled the device. A $hit move from Telstra. At least they could have given us the ability to install the Roku firmware.
I'm going to seek out a second hand appletv or firestick.
Xiaomi Mi TV box has USB
Chromecast(the most recent version that runs apps) and Firestick can support USB, you just need to power them through a Powered USB Hub. Insert the USB drive into another port on the Hub.
I've got one, and it's not worth it even for free IMO.
I guess NOBODY'S HUBBLIN'
How the (profanity) did their R&D department put this thing out?
Oh wait I guess it's a Rupert thingEven a blind beggar in a third world country could tell this wouldn’t kick off.
On top of that they think it’s $99 worth. Trying to compete with likes of Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV.
Got the offer. Pity it doesn't include 3 months free Kayo.
Hmm, I did claim one few months ago. Do I qualify for another one ?
