  • I bought a timber Mimosa table of this size last week for $179, reduced from $449.

Must be clearing out last year’s Mimosa stock.

About the same price for an actual mimosa.

    It's a Diwali special

    Jason approves this deal

    • @jason is that true?

  • Bit on the expensive side for a mimosa isn't it? I'll take one of their snags instead

  • +1

there's a reason why that dining table is $19 though …..

    • Because no one was willing to pay $229 for a mimosa?

    • jv that you? Random bolding of words

  • It's a flip opportunity, but not something most peeps would want in their home. Even getting 50 for this on gummie could be a challenge

I have a couple of these tables, and have to say that while I find them ugly, they are very convenient if you have kids that love to paint. At some point you need to be able to decide if you want a table that looks good and then have your kids thrash it, or that maybe doesn't start off but it virtually indistrucable (unless left out in the rain, these eventually start to rust)

      • Yes I bought the smaller one with chairs when I needed additional table space for a Christmas dinner. It is pretty ordinary. But on the bright side I do not expect it to last forever and even a year or two I will get my money’s worth.
The chairs and table legs rust pretty quick even under cover in a subtropical environment.

  • Mimosa

    too early in the day?

  • Mate had similar one and was our drinking and cards table during my uni days. Had something like these "recliner" seats as well https://www.bunnings.com.au/marquee-sling-steel-sun-lounger_…

  • Just called up chatswood bunnings, all gone

  • Repurpose glass as privacy glass for bathroom windows, entrance doors.

I called Preston out of curiosity and the guy said “don’t believe things online, we’d never sell a $250 table for $19. Some customer is just lying”

    Good one mate

  • Bunnings managers specials are the worse bargains to try to replicate at other stores, problem is sometimes they do do it, which leaves you living with hope and chasing impossible&frustrating deals .

    Stock level 8 .
Maybe you can find another store with less than 10 in stock, and they will run out also.
